The manga realistically handles the whole "incest" thing. Jeremy never saw Shuli as his mom so he developed feelings for her but was willing to never act on it to protect their family. Shuli pretty much sees Jeremy as her son so I don't think there was ever an opportunity for the two to have that sort of weird grooming pseudo-incest relationship that manhwas tend promote. Not to mention, the story shows how others react to such a relationship (a lot of negative reactions) which is great! I really advise you give it a read :)

When Mielle told his brother that their father's right, and he's the head of this family, so he makes the decision - and also mentioned "I have a plan but it's risky." She meant discarding their father and make the eldest brother the proxy or temporary head because he's the heir. That would mean they can try and stop Aria's and the crown prince wedding like they want to OR blame Aria for pushing the father. Either way, it's a trashy move from Mielle and lady Iris (sinice she's probably too dumb to come up with that plan on her own).

the first 20 chapters for me were pretty rough, it started to pick up by 40 and by the latest one i truly can't wait for the next chapter! If you can grind through the FL being a bit annoying at the start the payoff later with her development is pretty good

I prefer the kdrama! It's more dramatic and interesting and the plot is deeper than the manhwa's one. The manhwa is good tho but personally I'm just really obsessed with the kdrama
The kdrama is better! You really feel what the characters are portraying. I cried, laughed, cringed, smiled along with the characters! One of the best kdrama of 2024. And the ost of the drama~~~~chef's kiss. You might regret if you don't watch the drama. I wanted until it finished airing and watched altogether
