I don't care if they're fucked up or the characters are too disturbing, or they even feel weird for you. I'm a writer myself and I can tell how unbelievably wise the characters were portrayed and that plot: though it's quite known, yet Harada delivered it surprisingly, I even felt like I didn't know about that kind of twist because it really shocked me.
Lastly, and most importantly, the E N D I N G. Some think it was so disturbing and bad, but please take note of this:
the ending made me realize toxic relationships do not deserve a happy ending at all.
