Reading while listening to sad songs made me feel weirdly solemn... and melancholic. It wasn't even sad lol... I dunno, they just fit each other so much, and I love the pacing, how they've come into terms with their feelings for each other without the unnecessary drama and misunderstandings. (cough the obvious angst in the future tho... abt using him as reference. I kinda know how it'll pan out...... pff)
Season 1 was an overall great read! I can't wait for the next season, I just know this couple will be one of the most memorable ones~
so I read the raws and the rating was shit there I was confused as to why... 'n then I saw there were a bunch of homophobic bitches complaining that they thought it was straight and why it was gay.
This manhwa was the one that urged me to create a freaking korean acc, I even had to create a korean email address for that shi... and I named myself, "suck my dick fucker"
( 내거시기를빨아fucker) while my ID was homophobicburninhell so I can flame those duckers off but the site had a policy to wait 10 days for u to comment =-=) eventually my burning adrenaline died off.
Honestly i'm not surprised, a BL novel i read that was heavy on plot and gaming had a few bad reviews. I think some of them felt baited???? Idfk how, the cover is clearly BL...i guess they read the summary and thought it was a great sounding gaming isekai novel but didn't know it was BL lmao...
Novel was really good though, sucks the manwha effing butchered it by forcing the smut in...which i love smut but wth...the novel story was so good.
(Also i read it on booktoki, same kinda site as newtoki???)
It's this one https://booktoki327.com/novel/1913643?stx=%ED%94%8C%EB%A0%88%EC%9D%B4%EC%96%B4%EB%A1%9C+%EC%82%B4%EC%95%84%EB%82%A8%EB%8A%94+%EB%B0%A9%EB%B2%95
Mtl is bad though, you have to make sense through it.
It's also called how to survive as a player for the manwha. Though for novel readers, the manwha is VERY different from the novel. Where the novel is better for plot/character. Manwha is only good for smut and art.

"why continue reading if u don't like it?"
People can still consume and continue on associating themselves with a medium simply because they wanted to stick around and see how the story will end, and maybe in hopes that their feelings for it will change or to augment positively than before. (me to the former bcs of the side stories)
To the certain user I saw fighting with a bunch of other people in the comments... you're frustrated and annoyed at all the remarks and the comment section filled with negative regards every single update, I understand. However, you don't need to trouble yourself to try and change their own set of opinions towards the story; they won't think differently the way you wouldn't.
Isn't it actually impressive that the author managed to wring out so much out of this manhwa despite the hate? Because people are intrigued whether they liked it or not. People would pay and "waste" their time to read what happened next out of their own accord and that's very much fine. In the end, it's the author that's winning and benefitting out of all the chaos lol.
Also, some people are masochistic and are suckers for torture. Sometimes that’s all it is.
HELP TRUE (ME FR) I'VE BEEN HERE SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING HAHAHAHA No matter how much I whine 'n cry abt how much it hurts, is a deep feeling of controversial euphoria.
Plus it’s therapeutic to see someone else’s fucked up life cause it makes you feel better about YOUR fucked up life. I’m currently living on being like “my life is messed up but at least my best friend didn’t fake an affair with my bf in order to get me angry enough to do rough sex…” and it’s somehow working out in my brain that my life is shit but it could be worse!
THE SUMMARY IS HILARIOUS IT'S SO DUMB AHAHAJAHAHA PREACH
