Im mad (mostly at kirie).
Like, why did no one ever leave the town? Especially kirie and shuichi? Especially after all those weird events? Why, just why Kirie didnt elope like Shuichi wanted?!
And when i though they would actually escape, at least those two... Nope. They completed the spiral and made me mad again.
And now i'll never look at a spiral the same way again O.O
This is what people called cosmic horror. If you read any of Junji Ito story you will understand. Junji Ito character are not ment to be sympathetic, strong, or understanding. They kinda like a first person game, you used them as a vessel to watch the horror unfold. At first I also like you, mad at them for not leaving but thru many Ito works I accept it, just like every character in his work accept their fate. They just watch the horror in front of you, drown in its madness and it is very thrilling to throw away your feelings for the main character and just focus on the horror
Soooo im a little confused. Have they realized they like each other or not? I think the uke still didnt get it even though he only wants to be eaten if the seme likes him. And i think the seme didnt want to say "like" because what he feels for the uke is stronger than that? Is that it??? Ahhhh i wish they would just confess already!! (/ TДT)/
Also, i dont get the scared mechanism?? Wasnt that just supposed to happen with the seme cuz they were actually the ukes feelings but then it happened with the other one?

Uke knows he likes seme but seme told him he doesn't like him so uke is denying his own feelings because he wants the seme to confess first. Seme doesn't realize he likes uke, he thinks its because he's human and the sweet smell is what causes him to want the uke. So uke is being stubborn. Seme is still not aware of his feelings and is in denial that it could be anything else but just the instinctive need to devour a human.
I don't understand what you mean about the scare mechanism?
They both like each other, but it’s not “love” yet, I guess rn they are trying to figure out their feelings while obviously being attracted to each other. I feel they are both in denial of their feeling for each other at the moment.
As for the pain/scare thing, I imagine it has to do with the fact that they are “predator and prey” and the uke is being “eaten” by the seme, rather than him “eating” the seme.
I know! It's weird but he still seems like he doesn't really mean it. since he said after, that he thinks he had enough of it kinda like it was just a word to him and nothing more. He doesn't seem to realize why he wanted to say "I like you" so much and just thanked the uke for the meal.

So when they were meeting to go to school the girl actually called the boy Yuta, so that would mean that they are in their original bodies. But then the boy latter adresses the girl as the boyfriend which would mean that they are still switched. I think it could also be a joke since Yui spend a lot of time as as boy, thus "boyfriend", but still we dont really know for sure!
