I’m ngl - sometimes I love this story so much and then at other times it makes little to no sense to me. I understand she thought the books was a prophecy etc etc when she was a child but she’s grown up from the day she first found the book. I know she’s questioning the book now but I fail to see why she hadn’t before.
After the initial bad servants were thrown out of the palace, everyone has been super loving and supportive of her. Sometimes she comes across as so ungrateful for all the love she receives it makes me dislike her.
“Oh she feels like it can be taken away at any point.” Why??? Bc a book told her??? Again, I understand that she was deluded when she was a child but she was growing up? The story just paints her as the world’s most gullible idiot honestly.
I didn’t like the emperor in the start he was a dickhead and yes he was a POS but he’s changed. In fact her lunatic of an actual father who is ok with constantly abusing his sons and only giving love to Phil is a bit more unliveable tbh.
I like Phil I really do and I was sad her childhood was a miserable one but she was loved growing up idk this whole premise just seems so pointless. On top of that what she read was essentially a fanfiction bc the author hated how Phil was actually loved in the real storyline and going off that this is the real story line-
