grandma really gotta go and so is jaekyung if that mf lash out without hearing my boy speak, I'm gonna drop this shit (and pick it up when it's finished)

Nova February 14, 2024 7:16 am

that alpha sure is getting on my nerves. everything that comes out of his mouth sounds like shit. does he look like he like the uke at all? don't even start me with the chicken thing or how the uke thinks that the alpha was looking after him just bc he warned him abt his father. this guy is a total dick, talking abt mutual consent when he's the one who was out of his mind and turned the uke into an omega. disgusting

    AWinterWonderLand February 14, 2024 9:10 am

It was actually Noah who had come to him while he was isolating. I don't know the extent to which an alpha's pheromones impacted his omega manifestation. The comic never said.

It was only after he had gone back to Korea and was feverish for 7 days that he had gone to the doctor and was diagnosed as a late-stage manifestation.

So in Ian's mind, Noah was the one who had invaded his space. It wasn't Ian's fault that Noah had shown up. He had invited himself. And it's not his fault Noah got turned. And even if it has triggered his omega-ness it hadn't happens during their other sexual encounters. And since Noah had turned into an omega, he became susceptible to an alpha's pheromones. No one was at fault. But in Ian's mind, he was isolating at his home and bothering no one. There was no initiation on his part.

And for Noah- he didn't know Ian was isolating. He came to return something he felt was necessary to Ian; Hyper Dominant Inhibitors which would be dangerous to be without if you thought you had them on you. He didn't know he would be pulled inside. He didn't know that he, a Beta at the time, could possibly invoke a reaction from Noah.

So on Noah's part, he didn't initiate the encounter either.

He didn't return the inhibtor because he had felt it was necessary. Some ppl, myself included, have pointed it out that it was an Assumption it was Ian's inhibtor. It could have been an inhibtor that anyone could have dropped. It was only the case since he saw Ian passing by and and afterwards saw an inhibtor. But the primary reason wasn't because he had to return it. He used that as an excuse to go see In "one last time", per his thought bubble. I don't know how much it was necessary. If Ian knew he needed it and didn't have it on him, he could have stopped by a pharmacy/call someone up to deliver it. Whatever his preventive measures may be. But whatever the case he had already made it home.

Many ppl, myself included, had wondered WHY he didn't just catch up to Ian after class had ended, but had WAITED until class was over long over, and Ian had left campus and proceeded to his house without a real reason??? If it were THAT important. If he were returning an inhibtor THINKING it were important, wtf didn't he give it back right away?!? Or that he can think, oh, maybe this alpha was going into heat?!?

He was clearly using this an (flimsy) excuse to go see him before having to go back to Korea. Read his thought bubble.

I guess this an instance where I agree to disagree. :)

It's fine. Just that his thought bubbles showed his intent. AWinterWonderLand

I interpreted his intent differently, which is why I didn't mean to "argue" that yours is incorrect. Just that we have different views.

He is close with ML, thus likely has seen his inhibitor before. It would stand to reason, in my opinion, he recognized it as belonging to ML.

MC appeared hesitant to make a scene in public. He is intimidated by ML's friends who look down on him. Returning it in front of others only to be snubbed would be extremely hurtful, especially when MC comes across as quite timid in regards to his feelings. It would be mortifying to be ignored/rejected in a public setting such as school.

He appeared to me to decide it was a sign that he should at least have one last opportunity to part with ML on a better note. A sense of hopefulness yet hesitation. To go to his house and deliver it in person was his option, as going there without a purpose or approaching ML in general without an "excuse" terrifies him. It seemed to me like an "out" so to speak. If he arrived and saw the same cold/cocky stare he had an excuse to be like "that was all, bye."

No. I saw all this as well. I can't remember whom I had spoken to since the beginning of this comic two months ago. And yes, the one side think like I do and the other side think like you do.

I don't disagree with that as possible scenario but you can see in the bubble where he said it was "an excuse" and not a purpose, in returning tbe inhibitor, even if it WERE Ian's. From what we can tell, Noah has never been around Ian whenever he's in rut and there is only an assumption of his knowledge of inhibitors. During the time they've been friends, and during the very brief period of being FWB.
And afterwards, in the car ride back from Ian's place after Ian had kidnapped him, he had said "well, that's what I get for my greediness". So his intention wasn't to return the inhibitor so much as to go see Ian.

And not going after Ian due to the reflection of who and how he is perceived by his classmates shouldn't matter too much by that point, as they were on the verge of graduation, with that being their last class of the year. And when it was shown Ian leaving we don't see anyone else surrounding him, so the assumptions of being ridiculed in the eyes of others, of you're that desperate, shouldn't matter at all. You can clearly see he WANTS to see the guy in private. Had nothing to do w the inhibitor. Like a lot of ppl say, can't believe he only has ONE injector on him (I'm sure there are also pills), and he's wealthy enough to go purchase another one, unless the pharmacies aren't close by or something. But it's a common item for that society so they wouldn't be out of stock.

    OnePageMoar February 14, 2024 8:09 pm

Strong disagree with all of that.

    AWinterWonderLand February 14, 2024 9:12 pm

 if the inhibitor was so important. he didn't have to wait.

And if he was willing to act like an idiot in using the inhibitor as an excuse then the inhibitor itself is not that important. And why would he knows it's Ian's ??? It's not like inhibitors were classified.

    Mistress_RA February 16, 2024 11:04 am
Strong disagree with all of that. OnePageMoar

Bravo! I agree with you! Some people which I addressed in a separate post are still on this band wagon of Noah is the Villain in this whole storyline. First it was rape now it's something else, smh. I could have sworn that Noah saw Ian drop the inhibitor picked it up thinking he'd return it and in doing so he'd get to see Ian one last time. If I'm wrong I apologize. But I see the blatant implications in the wording, someone who shall remain nameless, planting seeds of doubt rather Noah may have had bad intentions taking the inhibitor back, possibly knowing Ian may have been in heat smdh.(⊙…⊙ ) Some people have issues. As I said in the past I will say it again that with Noah's personality he doesn't appear to be that type of person to do those things that he's being implicated with ill intentions. As we can see he is the typical doormat omega so much so and he takes everything to heart. Noah is even giving up his freedom, the life he's built, piece of mind and friends enduring rape, harassment, being controlled like a puppet and humiliation to make sure his son has what he needs, ie medication, a complete family affiliation, even if it's for show, inheritance, etc. But yet people keep harping on past events they got wrong looking for other things to feel validation and blame Noah instead of admitting Ian is a raping, kidnapping, control freak, pos. If someone says No and stop it's supposed to mean something smdh. Let's not forget how Ian is using that beautiful baby as leverage to control Noah. But let them tell it Noah deserves it and Ian is an Angel (/TДT)/

    OnePageMoar February 16, 2024 5:47 pm

Ian is an Extremely Dominant Alpha- other something common. It would stand to reason that not all inhibitors look the same. If they did, it would be easy to mix them up and take the wrong type. The same way pills, and birth control cases, look different IRL- inhibitors should too, especially if in a fast acting injection formula. Noah was Ian's "best friend" and around him constantly. At one point it would make sense he has seen this inhibitors. Again- strongly dominant alpha who has unstable rut cycles. This means he would want to always have it on him whether on a rut or not. (Ian even says that Noah is familiar with this being the case, his unpredictable ruts.)

You are assuming the school is empty one minute, yet prior state it could have been anyone's inhibitor... either the school was empty so it ONLY could have been Ian's- as we see it roll, or the school wasn't empty- which explains why Noah wouldn't want to return it right away. Ian wants a reason to talk to Noah. He is an introvert who is afraid of being looked down on, as is indicated multiple times. If absolutely anyone was around to see him be rejected then he would feel mortified. It doesn't matter if he will "never see these people again." People still get embarrassed in front of 1 time strangers! Tripping in front of a crowd of people you will never see again is no less embarrassing than tripping in front of a classmate you won't see again. Especially as said classmate may tell others, as gossip and school go hand in hand. Especially in a school where there are alphas looking down on him for being a "beta" and would love any chance to take out their jealousy he'd had a friendship with Ian?

So yes, it was an "excuse" to talk to him. He wanted a reason to be able to see him. This reason did not need to be pressing. Ian may have hundreds of inhibitors- who knows? But the same way a ml will return an easily replaceable pencil for the excuse to talk to their crush in other stories- Noah does that here. He wanted to talk to Ian. He was afraid to talk to him in front of people. He would have found it pathetic, given their last interaction, to show up at his house empty handed. It is a highly common trope across "romance" for characters to return something as an excuse to talk. Heck, girl characters will leave behind mere hair-ties as an excuse to see people again. Humans who fear rejection enjoy having an "excuse" to see someone. I used "excuse" because that's what it was- a non pressing reason that doesn't hold significant weight yet facilitates an out in the case of rejection.

Noah wouldn't want his last time with Ian to be some sex fest. His feelings were hurt and he is shown to be emotional. There are 0 indications he would want to go there for that reason. There is nothing that hints towards him wanting to entrap Ian and keep him. There are, however, indications he is "in love" with Ian and wants a chance to talk to him, as he was unable to bring himself to say anything the final time they spoke. They never even solidified if the entire friendship was ending, or if that only pertained to the sex-friends aspect. Wanting closure isn't a crime, especially if the other party didn't ask you never to talk to them again.

If being an alpha is essentially an alcoholic, and omega is alcohol- then betas are soda. Alcoholics get excited at the scent of alcohol- not soda, to which they have no interest/issue with. Noah essentially brought what he, for all purposes, thought was soda to Ian's house. He had no reason to think his soda would suddenly become alcohol. He had no reason to believe the alcoholic would reach for his Pepsi, chug it, then magically have that Pepsi become alcohol and "Oh no, I made Ian drunk!" As you said yourself- we don't know why Noah changed. So he had no way to see this coming.

You seem hellbent on this back and forth when I have expressed- I agree to disagree. I see no reason to do this. I am not trying to "convince" you, and all these people you keep mentioning, your opinion is wrong. All I wanted to do was present a different opinion. You keep badgering in.... why bother when all these "many people" agree with you, thus indicating this has been posted about already?

I am not saying that Ian is at fault for the rutting/mating ordeal. I agree that neither are wholly responsible. Both of them had their reasons for not expecting it nor intending it to turn out that way.

And that's the last I'll reply to you and all of these many people you keep mentioning. I do hope you enjoy your weekend.

Thank you! You really ran Alice down. Again I totally agree with you @OnePageMoar. I just don't understand Alice and the so called others witch hunt against Noah when the proof is in the text. You definitely can't blame them for the time Ian was in rut snatching Noah in the house. It was definitely instinctual. The times after is another story. But anywho. Many blessings OnePageMoar! Enjoy your weekend!
