I started reading it cause the art was good, but after reading the spoilers i was like WTF im no autor but i don't think that using every trope imaginable is a good idea, yes some of them can make the story more interesting but using all of them makes it feel like they are added only to make the story longer rather than having any relevance to the plot
Honestly at this point i don't even know what's the plot here, like something is happening but nothing is happening, and honestly the only reason im still reading this is to see how FL is going to deal with Rebecca, cause every character is so boring and uninteresting, first the ML he is literally one of the most bland charaters that i have ever seen, he has the personality of a wetwipe but unlike a wetwipe he is completlly and uterlly usseless, the only thing we saw him do is being like "i wan't sex, give me sex" and i really can't understand why the FL is so obbsessed with him i wouldn't trust him to take care of a rock let alone a child, i mean you know you are messed up when a harem MC has more of a personality than the supposed ML of this story, now for the FL she looked smart but you just have to ask yourself why would she spend her time on a man like him, and one thing that i don't like about her is that she is basically disrespeting the OG Cona, as the OG Cona is the only sane character in this world, yes she stayed with the ML but not cause she loved him but because she was trapped there, she had to fight alone in that house against everyone while the ML was doing God knows what, but she endured it cause she had no choise, cause where is she going to go while being pregnant, but when she lost her baby she finally had it enough, and im really happy that she was like fu*k you ML when he was begging for her to stay with him, and left him to find happiness with the OG ML, honestly i would have rather read the OG Conas story that this BS, that why im kind of mad at the FL cause even if she is a difgerent person in Cona's body to disregard jer feelings and chase after the man tha caused her so much pain and suffering, if i was Cona i would be so pissed off, and one thing i would like to happen is that the MC meets Cona and she tells her off for everything that she has done so far, it would be so satisfying if that happened ╮(￣▽￣)╭
^this. OG Cona is the best Cona, fangirl has one of the frustrating rose-tinted ideals, and Ertein needs to be thrown away and left alone in his original guilt and regrets. "Obsessive men are the best" - yeah...only in fiction lol. Try living with a real one.
Honestly the priest is a piece of sh*t, i mean who are you to talk about someones marriage especially to someone outside their family, and instead of telling Ettelrak that he shouldn't go after a married woman, cause he can't know what might happen in 3 year and they might not get a divorce, he is like yea go visit her as her "friend", i mean why are you giving him false hope, and honestly if i found out that a priest has told such an important secret to someone without my knowlege i would make sure to get him thrown out of the temple cause that's a crime and he should be punished for it, also i have a feeling that Etterlak is going to tell his sister about their divorce, also what i like about Elaen is how she was clearly digusted and uncomfortable when he confessed she knew how draw a line which many MC's fail to do （￣へ￣）

The princess who originally was disgusted by ML in the past during his 'beast' era and used to act mean towards him,and as shown in the manhwa,wants to seduce ML after she made the emperor force him to be her escort until she gets married and will keep doing so despite his indifference towards her by wearing revealing dresses and clinging to him and will start spreading rumors about them both as 'lovers'.To her,if she had known that he was hiding his good looks under his beard and old appearance,she would've clinged to him in the past.
-She will pay a lot of money so that the 'Beast duke' and ugly insults spread about ML will be removed and instead the love story of the duke and princess who have been in love since young,separated because of a misunderstanding then reunited,will spread instead.They even said that ML grew a beard and became like a beast because he was so heartbroken after his breakup with the princess in the past.FL was sheltered and didn't hear anything about these things.ML was angry about the rumors and the fact that it only took 5 days for them to spread like fire.
-Because the princess can't accept that ML,a man, isn't moved or excited by her or seduction,she sets up a room full of roses and candles...etc and tells ML to come for a serious meeting matter.He was confused when he came there because it looked more like a bridal/wedding night room than a room for a meeting.Princess was wearing a very revealing thing and she started(in the most embarassing manner) to show off her 'assets' by touching her breasts and her body and saying how all men want her even ML who is acting tough.She didn't care that he was married.ML was disgusted but tried to keep his patience in check until she approached him and started talking again indecently but this time ML laughed and started putting her in her place,using the words she used herself 'all men covet her' against her while looking down at her like she's livestock.The princess for the first time felt cheap and humiliated and was in dibelief that FL,a mere low noble has captivated ML and she the princess can not.
-And because she can't accept that a man she wants doesn't want her back,she sexually harassed ML by suddenly reaching out to touch ML's private part and squeezed it,it was soft and indifferent just like his cold expression(he was not turned on or aroused)and she was shocked.
-ML immediately pushed her hand away from his pants,internally wanting to slap her hand harder as he was so angry and uncomfortable,the princess,still in shock asked him if he was even a man or maybe an eunuch or if he liked men.ML tells her if the princess was a man,the first thing he'll do to her is beat her up,he then left,leaving her humiliated.
-ML was disgusted and angry about what happened,he felt so dirty and took a bath hundreds of times because even if it was a mere second of the princess' touch and only on top of his clothes,he didn't like it,he was cursing and felt guilty even if he was the victim,because his body is FL's.He didn't want to go see FL immediately because he felt bad and it was late at night anyways so he went to his estate.
-the princess on the other hand went to complain to her brother,the crown prince(who's also an ass)who instead of worrying over the fact that his sister sexually harassed his friend,was just concerned about the fact that he didn't want to hear his sister describe his friend's private part as she kept saying he must be an eunuch.He told her not all men are animals and stuff but princess being stupid and even after what happened,still thinks of a way to create a situation where ML has to divorce FL and marry her instead.She wants to meet this FL who ML is faithful to and hurt her.
-ML and FL reunite,ML is no longer the escort of the princess but FL is still unaware of what happened.
-Princess and FL do meet at an event(i don't remember clearly what it was,maybe jousting or something).The princess arrives and notices FL,she was surrounded by more people and attention than the princess and her brother,and she looked like a flower.Later on when she approached FL so she can 'break her heart' and push her to divorce,FL started acting like a dumb simp to the princess and the princess was taken aback as FL kept showering her with compliments,even saying that ML is so lucky that he gets to see the princess everyday:facepalm:.Princess realizes that FL is still unaware of the scandal and rumors and that all she did was for nothing,she was nearly charmed by FL's naievty as they talked but she still wanted to hurt FL and she rejected when FL said she wanted to start sending and receiving letters from the princess when she gets married off to the other kingdom and the princess said to FL how can FL want to exchange letter with her husband's scandal's partner.
-At some point while alone, the crown prince teases ML,using his sister's sexual harassement by asking ML if he was an eunuch,ML was unamused because what the princess did isn't a joking matter,but he answers the prince that his private part recognizes its owner(FL),it works when ML thinks about her,smells her,sees her..etc.He also rejects the idea of any of his potenial children marrying into the royal family,if that were to happen then he'd rather not have children.
-Then FL finally opens her eyes after the princess' words and hears about the rumors from that James guy sister(he sent her to FL in hopes of breaking up ML and FL),who also approached her to talk about them,she tells him she already knows and doesn't care because she trusts ML,she herself was excited when she saw the princess so being excited is normal but ML will never hurt her or have an affair. Long discussion between annoying James and FL about the overused dumb idea how men are tempted,dont think...bla bla bla before FL finally shuts him out coldly and tells him to never see each other again.
-ML and FL talk about this at night,at some point FL asks him if he was close to the princess,ML says there was a little contact and quickly added that he was the victim,that even the emperor sent him an official formal apology for what the princess did.But ML got confused when FL said that it's a relief,just after he said he was sexually harassed.She said it's a relief because she's the first person to touch ML or something like that and ML said that it's a relief he got married to her first.
-During a ball,FL showed off her good relationship with ML in front of everyone including the princess who was shocked,ML was so different around her,like an obedient puppy especially after FL complimented him and even leaned down his head so FL can pat his head,while he was hostile to the imperial siblings.The princess,noticing FL looking at her while patting ML was confused whether FL was being sarcastic and showing off that she doesn't care about the scandal or if she was just being herself.When the crown prince tried to lighten up the mood,ML was glaring fiercely at the princess who thought his look was more murderous than that night when she molested him so she silently asked her brother who was laughing at the situation to get her away from there by asking for a dance.She was embarassed.
-I only skimmed after this and I was very disappointed,the rumors were cleared and people no longer believed the fake love story between ML and the princess,the princess also wasn't punished in any way(she may have got a bit hurt from the false rumors but she wasn't affected)and she didn't get any karma,especially for the sexual harassement that ML was super uncomfortable about,the author kinda turned it into 'humor'.Author made the princess do a 'good' tiny deed to that James' sister and somehow she and FL and that girl became friends,like seriously?.ML didn't like them and was angry that they were around FL.Calling the princess a shameless fox and that Raina/Reina(James' sister), a person with interests that should be watched.
-The princess at the end was married off to that kingdom just as planned,she had given FL sexual advices and ways to please ML and even sent her oils and revealing cothes to seduce ML and excite him...um yea that's the last time she was mentioned.
-ML and FL have a daughter,Valentina and she will most likely inherit the title.

Hey thanks for the explanation when they introduced her i think they sead that she was the empress dowager and i thought that an ED is ussually the emperors mother so that's what got me confused i was like "no way that that's his mother or step mother she looks way to young" but she was actually his concubine, i mean having a concubine when he has a wife like the empress makes the emperor an even bigger idiot with shit taste and it just adds more things to hate about him （￣へ￣）
One thing i don't understand in this story is how are the brothers the love interest? i mean it's not uncommon to have step siblings in otome games, but that also means that they are the love interests of their BLOOD RELATED sister and i don't really know how her route would go cause they are blood related idk why the are the love interests in her route, maybe if they are excluseve to Penelophes route cause at least they are not blood related ( i mean it's not much better, but it's less creppy than dating your own sister ) ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
