The author is doing a great job if their goal was to make the readers think Valery was right in letting Asil behind and that Asil is only a fool who can't take care of himself, needing a shi** ML to keep an eye on him to make sure his butt is safe.
All of this doesn't prove Valery's point, in fact it was Valery's fault that Asil became what he is at this point: a pitiful person who can't think straight and isn't capable of taking smart actions after all the abuse he suffered.
I'm dropping this because I already know where the author want to reach. It's a shame, because I was invested in the history and I thought Valery was going to realize he was being a bitch at some point, but instead the author choose to blame the victim and they're trying to make us think the black flag ML was right all the time (yeah, Asil is annoying, but he's still the victim here).

I don't really understand. The only reason you support Asil is because he's a victim ? I totally agree with the fact that the author really wants us to like Valery (and that's worked for me, I really like Valery) but Asil was flat from the beginning. It's not because of Valery. It's because he's bad written.
I don't support Asil, just stating that Valery is in the wrong here and the author wants to portrait him as "rigth" to the readers, when he's, in fact, an abuser.
Actually I think Asil is really annoying and yeah he's bad written. Like, come on author, he's the top student, put his skills in check, make him take action to get out of this situation
ML really thinks that MC will be the bottom. Well, my instinct says otherwise.
Aand with my BL experience I would even guess that MC will be a beast in bed.

Yeah, the friendship is truly well written here, this is one of the reasons i love this manga. Now even the romance between Ameri and Iruma is developing, but all of this was being developed as well when the main history was going on and it was done in a marvelous way by the author. But now the pace is so slow, it makes seem that the main history was put aside
