No they have not known each other for a long time...It hasn't even been a full year in the story has it? Like how many months have they dated seriously??? That's the problem. We are talking MONTHS not years.

All Hari really want's is a normal relationship. But they started super backwards with him pressuring her to marry him just to get his grandpa to shut up. Not because he fell in love at first sight or anything. And then from there they moved to actually dating.

Hari just started having difficulties. Like it started on chapter 141. We are on chapter 143 now...give her a minute. It isn't like she has been agonizing alone for a long time and causing issues with their relationship just because she won't speak up. She just started and hasn't even figured out exactly what is going on with herself yet. She also went to an engaged friend for advice.

Gramps pov is twisted since he has been pushing his grandson to marry just anyone from the start. Gramps is also wrong on the merits. They have not been dating super long. I mean the two of them just had their first home date....Like chapter 140 this was the first time she's been to her boyfriend's apartment . But they are supposed to jump to marriage?

There is no evidence that she is trying to date his grandson for money or prestige. So his ultimatum is pointless. He asked her to break up with his grandson as if she is just playing around with him. Also to do so while he is sick is manipulative and he most likely knows that. She and his grandson are not baby making factories. They do not owe him grandkids immediately.

The grandfather is in the wrong. Me pointing that out doesn't mean I am upset.

This story has a repeating problem of folks interfering with the main couple. The main culprits being the best friend and the grandfather. They have done nothing but cause trouble. Meanwhile the actual couple is developing nicely and she is even starting to think about what it means to be married to someone. They did that on their own. They don't need anyone meddling in their love lives.

Everything is wrong with an old man wanting to see great grandchildren if he ends up rushing his grandchildren into a loveless marriage. If he had said to her that he hopes they get married one day that would be different. But he told her to break up with him. Based on absolutely nothing. While exaggerating how sick he his to put pressure on her to hurry and make a decision that will effect her entire life.

I brought up money because that would be a legitimate reason for the grandfather to push for them to marry or break up. But nothing like that is happening. What is happening is that they are having a loving relationship. The grandfathers input is unnecessary.

Also, you think Hari's parents don't want Hari to get married? You think they don't want grand kids? You don't see them trying to scheme up ways to pressure Taemu. They are just happy to let them into their family circle and to support his great relationship with their daughter.

Knowing the spoilers doesn't mean that the grandfather isn't in the wrong here. That concerns future events. Right now tho the grandfather is the one that needs to cool it.
