No problem, dearie!! I don't like people fighting as well, mostly because it's pointless since the author has the word over what they're doing about how it'll go and end.
It's ok siding to a character that you find better for the mc and so on, but it shouldn't get into a heated toxic argument, since at the end of it all it's just 2D characters.
