I think he was going to kill the Saintess herself... At least that's what it looked like. That blue eyed guy was her lover, and it looks like Mikhael is his reincarnation
so was the saintess rejecting the black haired dude (through the MC's body) because he is not the blue eyed dude?

my theory is the blue eyed guy was Mikhail and the person they were going to kill was Abel(im not sure) since there is the possiblity that they are the one that causes Abel to lose control of his magic or somethin..and also maybe because Abel has a potential to become powerful more than the priestess or Abel is stealing the power of the priestess so he can become the next high priest but not intentionally stealing it..i meant the God has pass the power of the priestess to him but it also the priestess has to die so that the process can be completed.
