this has to be one of the best bl’s i’ve ever read and istg i’ve never cried so hard over something unreal before. the ending is really messed up but it isn’t completely bad. 100% recommend. it’s sad but worth it

First of all Joowon told him “ don’t fall for me because I won’t fall for you” happened when they still lived together. If you finna tell me that he’s hasn’t gotten over it after ALL that time then Joowon is controlling his life. Also Taku was trying to compete the best he can against the ex-step brother which honestly is a no no ok and Joowon is a bad guy too because he knew that the parents was in love he knew what he was doing by bring Haesoo along. So if Taku is such a bad guy then Joowon is a demon. Yes Taku my have begged Haesoo too many times and may have pressured him to stay but he didn’t break up a marriage, messed up a mother and son, left two good people alone, messed up Haesoo, and string Haesoo along with him. Uhhh Joowon should just do the right thing and not get back with Haesoo and for once think about other people’s feelings like ohh their parents.

I recommend rereading the story.

Joowon said what he said because they were literally teens at the time, just caught by Haesoo's mum. He explained in the very next sentence that if they continued their parents will separate them.

Years passed but their family situation twisted their relationship and impacted it. Even years later Haesoo's mum guilt trips both of them. Saying to Joowon how he should stop the thing with Haesoo. Saying to Haesoo how it can be anyone but Joowon.
At this point of the story their parents weren't madly in love, they were mostly business partners, in ch86 Haesoo's mum said to Joowon's dad what she really thinks about him.

Both Haesoo and Joowon hurt each other. They've met under unfavourable circumstances which heavily impacted their relationship, the reason why they've never gone further. Because of their parents' view, because of the society. Because they were scared the other will reject them.

And at first Taku wanted to play with Haesoo and study him like some interesting object. He has seen him like his ex partners: like a candy. His intentions weren't good at all. He wanted to leave Haesoo (that's why he didn't say him anything about leaving) and see how it would have affected Haesoo. He wanted to see what Haesoo would write about him.
The first part of their "relationship" was a ploy and calculated game.
Yes then Taku fell into his own trap and caught genuine feelings.
But he still mostly thought about himself. He pressured Haesoo into the one-sided relationship although Haesoo rejected him at first and honestly explained he is not ready, in a good state of mind for a new relationship.

The "mess" was not created by Haesoo. The mess was in fact created by the person who initiated everything.... which is Taku. Was Haesoo the one asking Taku to go out with him?Was Haesoo the one persistantly asking Taku out even when Taku was hesitant? nope not at all.

Taku used Haesoo for himself, just as much as Haesoo used Taku.
They are both at fault.

However I blame Taku MORE because A) he's the initiator B) haesoo turned down taku once already, but taku kept going and asked AGAIN right after the painful joohae breakup. taku knew what he was doing here. he was the one that was in a healthy and calm mindset. meanwhile, haesoo was emotionally broken. so taku was aware of those broken feelings and took advantage of the situation immediately, because he's an opportunist.

I literally has the same thought as you, Haesoo is the main reason of this mess lets be honest - he already has a toxic relationship with with Joowon and he found himself a distraction Taku. Even if Taku was not in the picture Haesoo would still be finding distractions just to get his mind of Joowon (aka by sleeping around, making Joowon jealous), I do believe that all 3 characters are toxic in their own ways however - Haesoo is the most toxic in my eyes. He had his chances with Joowon to end the relationship properly but instead they kept going in circles.

taku's manipulative ass constantly feeds off of haesoo's misery and uses it for his art or to make himself feel "needed" and this is all you can say LMAO jokes.
