Even though I get why such a concept is hard to assimilate by the majority of people since we have all been socialized and conditioned to think exclusively in the binary gender system of "male/female" "straight/gay" and it's almost impossible to transcend our gender schema. If a heterosexual male happens to fall in love and/or feel attracted to a one specific man (for whatever special reasons or special circumstances that brought that about), but feels no attraction whatsoever for other men and continues to feel attracted to women, then he is still heterosexual. His attraction to that one specific man has not translated into sexual attraction for men in general.
