I kinda skipped a whole bunch of chapters bc I felt that there was nothing going on, came back to read chapter 75, and nothing had really changed. I’m not talking abt FL, I’m talking abt the plot. I can already kinda tell what happened since the chapter I skipped (28 to 74) to now. Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m just assuming:

FL still working for the emperor, their relationship is still like ML admiring FL, while FL just doing her job (please tell me if they’re dating or that they like each other). Sissy (too lazy to correct) faked her pregnancy, and in order to make bitchboy believe that she “lost his baby”, sissy blamed it on FL by drinking the abortion potion. Due to this, FL is gonna have to prove herself that she’s innocent or else her bad rep will look bad for ML, hence why she handed in her resignation letter. Bc sissy “lost the baby,” dipshit doesn’t want her anymore but can’t just throw sissy away since it’ll look bad on him.
For character development, everyone is still the same old same old, but, FL does look happier.

Reading a lot of esperxguide books (mainly bl), but majority (like all besides 2 that I’ve read) of them have a connection. That is wanting to lock up their guide so nobody can have them or to “protect” them. I can already see the misunderstanding/problem.

ML didn’t like the FL but eventually fell super hard that he was crazy in love. Which caused him to lock her up. The reason why he was so on guard was bc 1. It could be a monster and 2. He thinks that someone is gonna steal her away from him. Which is why this leads to why the FL thinks that ML didn’t love her (mainly for #2). Ofc this doesn’t mean that ML is not guilty for what he’s done. He’s delulu. But I already know that she’s gonna marry him again but after some heavy character development from the ML. Love how this is going so far.
I also love the face he makes whenever he gets guiding from her.

Bruh it still amazes me that ppl are still bothered by the word dad/daddy. First of all, it’s true he is daddy ;). Second, Pilgyum saw him as a fatherly figure. Lastly, it’s just what they do, just be unphased by it bc the plot is actually pretty good.
If y’all don’t like it then don’t read anymore. If it makes you uncomfortable then don’t read no more. If y’all want the translators to change it, then it’s literally gonna mess up the reason why things are the way things are now. You would call your fatherly figure “Oppa” or “Niisan” or “big bro” would y’all? I don’t think so. It’s also that Pilgyum don’t see Nanmu as those brotherly roles that y’all so want. He literally sees him as his fatherly figure. Just don’t read if it bothers you.
