That's what I got from it too. Lowkey think that the first chapter alluding to Yeonjin's death is actually a set up to make it look like he died and Moonhyuk is taking the fall to make it believable or something....or at least I'm hoping his death was faked as part of the revenge plan and he didn't really die...
...unless it's some mania thing where Moonhyuk is all like if you're going to die, die by my hands or some mess...

I called it months ago! I knew Hwan was the bad guy! It seemed like he even cause Chiwoo’s parents death? I think Jin is better for the MC, but I think he’s also working with or for Hwan.
