This is the worst police department in the world. Probably going to get a lot of thumbs down. Who interrogates a suspect and a witness together in the same room at the same time? Even if you don't believe what Seungbae is saying (which is true--he's the only one doing real casework), there is still protocol. South Korea is like number one in the world with law enforcement..I know it's fiction but I doesn't sit right with me. I'll still continue to read it of course.
