Starting at chapter 7-13
(Flashback)--Connor is Korean and is the only Korean at their middle school. Because of this he gets bullied alot especially by this guy named Pete. He beats up Connor and breaks the CDs that were in his backpack. Simon stops the fight by pulling the fire alarm. Teachers come out and the fight stops. Simon helps Connor up. Simon sees the CD and notice the artist. Connor says he has another copy and Simon says he'll trade his dinosaur keychain for the extra copy. Connor thinks Simon is weird but says ok. (Connor still has the keychain in present day) Simon takes Connor to an abondon church. He hangs out there afterschool and talks about music, owning a studio etc. Simon teaches Connor how to play the guitar and making band. Connor agrees and they start to fix the church up.
Eventually, Connor becomes proficient in playing the guitar. They go out and play different gigs like at birthday parties and save the money to fix the church. Connor plays the guitar and Simon writes the music and sings. They become closer and cute stuff happens like Connor giving Simon his jacket when he was cold and carrying him when he hurt his ankle. Connor and Simon become popular in school because of the band and pete and his friends didn't like that.
Simon goes to Connor's house for dinner and learns that Connor's family's f aith is Christianity but also still upholds their korean values so that they call Connor by his korean name at home (I can't remember right now). Connor's mom is super nice but his dad is sort of a tool. They have a gig at the halloween fair and pete and his gang sabotage them by locking them in the supply room. Connor breaks down and apologizes for put Simon through "this". Simon says it is ok, and that he cares about him and his race doesn't matter. They get the attention of Mona who ends up playing piano with them in the future (and she is rich so her family fixes the church for them). Connor realizes that he is starting to like Simon.
Simon teaches Mona how to play piano and talks about his mom. Connor talks to his mom about having a crush, his mom assumes he is talking about a girl, tells him to go for it. Pete makes a plan to rob and beat up Connor and joins up with a white supremacy group called Waf. When Connor left Simon, they knocked them out and took all gig money and took him hostage.
Connor's mom ask connor's cousin (who really isn't his cousin) if he has seen him and he says no. His cousin doesn't really get along with Connor's dad and feels that the family is only using him because he was inherited money so he stays in his room most of the time. Connor is forced to fight another guy, get beaten pretty badly but manage to get the money and get away by jumping out the window. He is taken to the hospital. Simon is at home and his is emotionally abused by his stepmom and his half brother. He gets a call that Connor is at the hospital and runs there. Connor tells him not to cry and kisses him on the cheek (didn't think it through) but Simon kisses him back. So they started secretly dating.

Present day,
Simon's brother is going around beating up WAF member---well to death. There's like this huge investigation and they are trying to find the person. Meanwhile, Simon is talking to his record company about performing at a local beer festival, they don' want him to be he insist and he wants his old band mates there. Connor's cousin is his manager and works for record company as well. They say ok. Simon meets with Mona and the other band member (I can't remember his name) and he gives them tickets and ask about Connor. Mona says she'll come but the other band member gets upset and says give his ticket to Connor's date. Simon gets sad because he didn't know Simon moved on. Connor goes and visits his family because it's his father's birthday. Ronnie is there and Connor apologizes and says he'll try to forget about Simon. They have sex and end up back together. Connor's cousin goes see Simon and Simon is high off alcohol, pills and heroin. Turns out, Connor's cousin always liked Simon and was jealous of Connor because of this. Simon teases him because of this and I'm going to go straight to the point, they end up having sex.
So, Ronnie and Connor go to the beer festival and sees Mona, Mona ask Connor if he wants to go and thinks about it and says no (because he was with Ronnie). Him and Ronnie run into his cousin. They pretty much hate each other. Getting straight to the point, Connor's cousin gets under his skin by saying that Simon sells his body to the industry and that he slept with him (which is true). Connor punches him and while this is going on, there is a huge commotion going on it the theatre that Simon is performing in. Turns out, a dead body was planted in a show display so when it was open, the body came out and fell on stage as Simon was performing. Connor was about to run to see Simon during the commotion but Ronnie stops him and they leave.
Turns out it was a WAF members body. Knowing that the WAF attacked Connor in the past (destroying his hands) they turn the investigation on Simon. People start to protest Simon's shows and stuff saying he's a murderer. Record label saying they will fix it. Of course, Simon turns to drugs to cope with it is almost overdoses--Connor's cousin saves him. The same guy that was in chapter one that wore the wig comes over. And Simon starts to have sex with him, the cousin starts to leave but comes back and they end up having a threesome.
Ronnie is painting a picture of Connor. She's daydreaming and the picture starts to talk to her. (Flashback) When Connor's hands got injured, Ronnie came to visit him. Turns out she's sort of groupie. She paid for his hospital bills and nursed him back to health. Connor takes her virginity. Connor goes home and take him to church to "pray the gay away", he cut his hair and starts to date her. (Present day), Connor meets with Ronnie and tells her that he couldn't continue the relationship. That it was a lie, he couldn't continue to use her and she needs to find someone who would love her. She cries and Connor calls Mona to gets Simon's number. He becomes nervous about texting Simon until he gets a knock on the door and it's two detectives.

Gotta go back to work. Will finish tomorrow

Okay so the two detectives enters Connor's place. They want Connor to remember what happen when his hands got severely injured. Then they change the subject to Simon, bascially saying that they believe that he is the murderer of the WAF member that was placed in the display. Saying that they have evidence (circumstance evidence though) and Simon won't talk to them (his record label is covering his tracks). The detectives asking Connor to tell Simon to turn himself in for murder and tell lessen Simon's sentence. The detectives trying to persuade Connor, made him remember when the police was proceeding his case--pretty much saying that they don't care about justice and he doesn't believe them so he kicks them out. Mona texts Connor, Simon address. Simon talks to his assistant, his assistant apologizes because he unknowingly told the police about Simon's personal life. Simon said it was fine and he doesn't care anymore. Simon's brother texts him a picture of Pete saying he found him.
Pete, (a disgusting, rapist and racist guy) gets beat up and captured by Simon's brother--he beats him and cuts his eye. Connor meets Mona at the bar, he tries to call Simon but no answer (he turned off his phone). Mona and Connor come up with a plan to sneak into Simon's apartment complex (after Connor failed and was kicked out by security). Mona ask him since he broke up with Veronica (ronnie) is he going to try to get back with Simon and that she thinks that it would be better if they were just friends. He says he don't know what will happen between them but he knows that Simon is having a difficult time and he will feel bad and regret it if he doesn't see him. So Teri (mona's friend)shows up and they implement their plan to sneak into the apartment complex.
So, Simon's brother has Pete in an abandon building and is torturing him. Mona pretends to have fainted at the front of the apartment complex. Teri helps her up and the security guard disarms the apartment complex to help them. Turns out he runs out their because Teri was a famous indie singer and just got signed at T-rex (the same record label that Simon is signed with) Connor uses the diversion and enters the building. He gets nervous thinking about meeting him. He's thinking about all the things that had happened, how he felt--his heartache and he felt miserable without him. At the time he was going through everything, how he always saw Simon smiling on TV and he felt that Simon didn't care and that's why Connor continue to "run away" and "distort" his memories of him. But now he knows that isn't true, that Simon was pretty much hanging on a thread, and was miserable too. He knows that he is about to lose him and Connor wants to hear him out--hear his side of the story. Connor rings the doorbell, but no answer. Simon's brother is raping Pete. Pete asks him why he is doing this and simon's brother asks pete, why does he rape people? He enjoys it, he likes to inflict pain on others, it's a hobby. Pete offers to pay him double/triple what the person offered him in order for him to stop. Simon's brother says that's not how he does his job, though he was not paid to inflict pain/rape, he is only doing it for fun and he's pretty much a sadist. Connor sits outside Simon's apartment door; sleeping. Simon comes up on the elevator, he's talking to his brother, Gale (I finally remembered his name!). He's pretty much saying the amount of money he is giving is enough and not to ask for more. He walks up to his door and see Connor and says his name.

So Simon taps Connor and wakes him up. Connor is surprised. Simon invites him in and makes him tea. Simon asks Connor, how he can sit outside and wait for him for 5 hours, and that he must be hungry (he offers him pickles), Connor says he's good. The atmosphere is awkward, Simon kind of stares at Connor for a while. Then they talked about how Connor was able to get in the building and Simon says he'll give him his real phone number. Simon says, he won't ignore Connor like Connor did him. Connor apologized, saying he lost his ability to play guitar and Simon so he was in a bad state. He was diagnosed with PTSD from the incidence--having nightmares from that night and bad memories. He can't make fine movements with his hands/fingers but he is almost recovered so he's fine. Saying that he hopes that Pete gets caught for doing this to him.
It goes into Simon running to his brother, extremely angry and vengeful, slapping a picture of Pete on the table. Gale saying that he was happy that he accepted his offer to get back at Pete and that Simon was just like him, a piece of garbage. Gale asked him how did he want Simon to kill Pete and Simon said to bring Pete to him alive and he'll kill Pete himself. Back into present time Connor discusses that two detectives came to see him because of Pete being an assailant in his case, but he has second thoughts about telling Simon that the police is suspecting him. Simon's inner thoughts of him saying that the police is close, yet they don't have any convicting evidence, but he doesn't want to get Connor involved. Simon tells Connor that he's happy that they are friends again. Connor clenches his fists and is about to say something then we get a flashback to we they were living together five years ago.
(Flashback) The band is playing together on stage, Connor is feeling exhilarated from performing on stage and is super happy. So happy in fact, that Simon and Conor go home and have sex. All while this is occurring, turns out that their apartment has been wired and someone is spying on them.
(Flashback continued) Simon and Connor are at their part-time jobs-working as landscapers, blowing leaves around. Using the jobs in order to save money for studio time. They daydream what it will be like when they become rich and famous. In addition, they believe that they'll be so famous that no one will care that they are gay and are dating each other. Also, there are a lot of severe hate crimes caused by white supremacy going around town lately, and has been all over the news. It goes to Connor's cousin, who is at a restaurant with Connor's mom. He hands her a lump of money, saying he's only helping with their debts because he cares about her. He talks about Connor playing guitar, saying that he uses that as an excuse not to find a job, that he's too old to follow his dreams so naively and he should face reality and get a real job before he gets old and doesn't have any money. Saying that his mom spoils him and if he was good, he would have gotten signed already. It goes back to Connor, ordering food at a hot dog stand. Simon is calculating his money because he wants to buy Connor a guitar for his birthday. Simon looks up and sees that the hot dog order was wrong and next thing you know, Connor throws the food at the vendor and grabs him by the collar. Well, the vendor is a racist prick because he said it was Connor fault for not knowing "human"language and that he couldn't understand him, he used a REALLY RACIAL ASIAN SLUR that begins with a C (like the equivalent of calling a black person the N word). He threatens Connor to punch him and Simon gets in the way and Connor accidentally punches him. It cuts to Mona sitting with the women in her family saying she should quit the band and marry a rich man like they all did. It goes to later in the day, she's reflecting on what they said and she believes that she doesn't have to get married in order to be successful. She' sitting alone, and then a small gang of guys she her bracelet and try to rob her--she runs away. On her act of running away, she runs into a future bandmate and they run to the main street and gets away from the robbers.
It goes back to Simon, and he has a bruise on his face where Connor accidentally punched him. The police talks to witnesses saying that Connor hit the vendor first and the vendor won't press charges if Connor apologizes. Simon gets upset with the police saying that they aren't even listening to Connor's side of the story. Connor apologizes just to get it over with. He storms off, Simon chases after him. Connor gets mad at him, saying why did his get in the way. Simon said that violence doesn't solve anything and that he needs to be rational. Connor yells at him, saying that because Simon is white he's never experienced what he has, that he's preaching at him, that's he's privileged and what is saying is utter bullsh*t. He thinks about all the bullying that happened to hims while he was in school. So at home, he's playing the guitar and Simon hugs him from behind. He starts kissing Connor and Connor says that he isn't in the mood to have sex. Simon says I love you and tells him not to push him way, let him be there when he's in sadness and pain, let them go through it together. Connor breaks down and cries. Cries about how f*cked up his life is and he cries, telling Simon he is so sorry for taking out on him and Simon says it's okay. Simon continues to hold Connor as he cries.

And now I'm crying. I'm a sobbing mess. Poor Connor. WHY IS THE WORLD SO CRUEL?!

Okay, now I'm back. (￣∇￣") I had a super busy week so I'm sorry for the delay. I'm now caught up to chapter 38. But I'm going to start where I left off last.--another long one!

(still in flashback) It's the next morning and Conor has just woke up. Simon comes into the room. Conor stares at Simon. His thoughts are about how handsome Simon is and how he is happy to see him. Simon jumps on the bed and hugs Conor and jokes around, saying that he's going to kiss Conor in 3 seconds. Before Simon gets to 3, Conor kisses Simon. They make out and start having sex. While they are having sex, a news report about Pete flashes on the tv. It goes to the vendor who's watching the news on tv, someone breaks into his house, sneaks up and shoots him in the head. Then it fast forward two years later (still in a flashback). The band and their friends are sitting down waiting for their tv interview to air on tv. They go on to talk about recording the interview because Mona was going to be late. Gwati, her boyfriend and the other band member complains about her working all time--pretty much warning everyone not to ever date their friends. The interview comes on and they talk about how weird it is to see themselves on tv. Then everyone started to notice that majority of the interview was about Simon and their interviews were edited down. The camera pretty much focused on Simon's every move. Simon says that they didn't tell him that they were going to cut everyone else part. Conor calmed them down saying it was a good thing because most times the lead singer gets the most attention so if Simon is famous, so is the band. Mona shows up with Ronnie (this being the first time Conor has ever met Ronnie). They go into the kitchen for drinks and Ronnie says that she's a fan of Conor. Conor thinks that's weird because most people are fans of Simon. He's friendly with her, saying that she should come backstage after the concert. Simon comes over drunk, him and Ronnie stare at each other---saying something is off about her.
--Next chapter, it's Christmas and Simon and Conor goes to visit Conor's family. They play games and eat dinner together. Simon and Conor overhear Conor's parents talking about him. Saying that he's happy and better, and knew that he would make it. Simon and Conor secretly hold hands. They have sex that night and they have to be quiet because Conor's parents still don't know about their relationship. The next morning, Conor's father is passed out drunk and they are conversing at the table. Simon gets a call on his phone, something happened to his stepmom. Conor and his mom are worried and asked if he wanted them to come along. He says no, his stepmom and him never got along and never acted like a family so it wasn't a big deal for them to come. Conor's mom remembers a time when Simon was a child and ran over to their house with no shoes on in the early hours of the morning. He was pleading for help for his brother, Gale who was being abused and dragged to the bathroom by his psychotic stepmom and she dyed his hair blond (she's clearly not all there). Conor's mom calls the police and they go back to Simon's house. The stepmom and Gale answered the door, saying that nothing abusive happened and Simon was lying so he wouldn't get in any trouble for sneaking out of the house. The police don't believe Simon, Simon begs and pleads for them to believe him--saying why would he sneak out the house in his pajamas and no shoes. He begs Conor's mom to believe him as his stepmom starts to bring him back into the house. His stepmom said she wouldn't punish him even though he was a bad boy with this evil look on her face, saying that he knows the kind of people she hates the most. Conor's mom stops Simon from going into the house. Believing Simon, she doesn't outright says she believes him, but says that she understands that boys are nuisances since she has a son and a nephew in her home and lets Simon stay with her family for a while. Conor was happy and said that he wouldn't be bored a home anymore. So, it goes back and Simon and Gale are attending the mom's funeral--not really looking sad to see. People are in the background talking, their father didn't come to the funeral, saying he had a conference however, that was his wife so he should have been there. Pretty much that he used her as a trophy wife. Gale was in the military abroad but recently got kicked around the time his mother died for doing something bad. Turns out the stepmom committed suicide, the same way that Simon's biological mom (the first wife) committed suicide.
--Next chapter, Simon is back home and is in the studio making music. Connor brings him his favorite food. He compliments Simon on the music and saying that he got so much down. However, Conor senses that Simon is gloomy and wondered if anything happened at the funeral. Simon doesn't really talk about his family. Turns out, Gale and Simon had a really big argument after the funeral. Gale asked him why did he come to the funeral, was it because their father told him to go or was he in it for the insurance money. Simon said that none of that is true, he called Gale a disgusting human being who takes his emotions out on everyone else, he only came because it was his duty to come as a family member. Gale says that it's all Simon's fault that his mom is dead and he called him a coward. Simon mind starts to be flooded thoughts of what his brother said to him--the stepmom had depression especially about their father so that reason Simon believe she committed suicide. While Simon is in deep thought, Conor is talking to Simon about the song--but Simon didn't hear him. In order for Conor to get Simon's attention, he ask Simon if he wants a bj and he does. That definitely caught his attention and his concentration. Then it goes to Pete who meets up with his fellow piece of crap gang members. They joke about him being a wanted man and he feels miserable about not having any power and feeling unfulfilled about his life. The leader says he can work for him because all they have to do is stalk this gay guy and record him for his boss and they'll get paid. Pete looks at the tape and realizes the blacked haired guy--it's Conor and the other guy is Simon. The gang member ask if he knows him. He says yes, that it was a huge coincidence that he saw him again. He's elated and wants to go beat him up. The leader warns him, saying that they were only order to stalk them and shouldn't lay a finger on them until the person who is paying says so. He ask him why he hates the guy so much. Pete smiles, saying that they just have some old memories together.
--So there is a party for a opening of a new magazine and the band is performing. The CEO/editor-in-chief gave thanks to everyone and people came up Ronnie congratulating her and her father who is the CEO of the magazine. She looks over at Connor who was sitting alone reading the T-Rex business card they were given. She was excited for him. Saying that T-Rex was a huge agency, yet Conor doesn't look to excited about it. She says if they get signed that he'll have to thank her with front row concert tickets because it is because of her letting them play at the party. She's a talker, she goes on about how talented he is and how famous he's going be and that he'll be the best guitarist. So they laugh about it and Simon oversees them and sees Ronnie get close to Conor. He doesn't like that of course. He's called back to see Kiev (I finally remember his name! Conor's cousin), who works for the company. Kiev basically tells Simon that the scouting agent only wants to sign him and not the rest of the band. He also says that even though he doesn't get along with Conor, he's not as talent. He knows that Simon doesn't want to play in small clubs anymore and that he should leave the burdens behind. It fast forward to later that night and they are having sex. Simon is being rough with Conor, Conor was telling him that he was hurting him. He goes slower, Conor asks him what's wrong and that they will always be together. Simon says that he'll never leave them or him. Then it goes to the T-Rex agency, they bring Simon's information to the racist CEO (I really don't like her). She asked about the other members and the scouting agent (who is her husband) says that she only needed a vocalist and the other artist were mediocre at best. She ordered them to draft a contract for just Simon (of course he doesn't know that this is happening). So the scouting agent leaves and gets on the phone with his mistress. Pretty much saying he's going to leave her once he signs on Simon. He also said it was a shame that they couldn't sign on the other members because they were really talented.
I'll do 3 more chapters tomorrow!
