Her ex sucks ass..and so does the "original novel" of the manga.
Let me get this straight.
Fl is the saintess ment to go through hartship to develop and awaken the Hero's power and be saved. And said hero is her constantly cheating (but dosnt see it as cheating himself) boyfriend..
He openly lets women flirt with him, never turns down an invitation from the opersit gender, aloves them to kiss him and even aloved actions that reprecent love and marrige intent twards him, yet he expected Fl to just sit at home and waith for him like a loyal dog that forgives any wrongdoing on his part. In the original fl forgave him because he was always there to rescue her (like a prince charming) but the curentl FL dosnt wana do any of that shit so she dumped him.
Whent Fl dumped him and started dating, he was in shock!.(he thought she would come running back and beg to get back together)
Then Fl end up marrying the one she was dating, so he desided to show up on her weding day and confront her, and was creamed at for ruining the happiest day of her life. (He though his mere presense would change her minde and have her run back into his arms.)

Then he finds out Fl's husband MIGHT be a Demon, and that info is based on one knight who was found passed out's testemony and the ex is over the moon with happynes.. Because "she was just bewitched" so onece he kills the husband they will get back together. But at the same time, there was that one page where he went "if it turnes out she is with him out of free will, ill kill them both".. Like wtf dude.
Thats not love thats obsession.. Hove come you didnt give as shit about cheating when you were together but the second she is happy you wana destroy it all for your own selfish "needs". Even his fellow knights and superiors are notecing how blody unhinged he is.. like in the recent chapter. After being told Fl's husband is a demon, to literaly have an evil grin on your face..

I hope for the sake of the story, that the ex ends up getting repremanded and a treaty gets made between humans and demons because of Fl and her husbands love!

So the prince never liked fl.. because hes the main capture target in a Otome game.. and the reason he married Fl is because the heroin never soved up.. all the comcubines have the heroins traits hence..
Fl dies or it was all a dream and wakes up in bed back when she was still in school..
She goes to school sees the prince (her fiance) trips and gives herself a cuncosion. While unconcious she remembers her old life and that the ppl close to her were Otome game characters... She voves to let the Heroin take the prince if he fancies her, but still falls inlove with him. But uses her "past life" skills to start cooking.. and the prince tries one of the cookies she gave her brother... and he likes it and starts to think FL isnt just a prety face...

Whats the heck is wrong with that prince...
So when they were kids he hated her for being fat and called her names, then he hated on her for being spoiled and thought her parents greedy.
She changes all of this and his first thougts are "she is sick, she is distressed from not seeing me"...
And then we find out he "loved her the way she was" but didnt show it because he felt "unworthy" of her?!?!?!?... Was the prince dorpped off a balcony when he was a kid and hit his head?. Even his right hand man tells him "its comming off as if you wana cancel the engagement" But he isnt listening at al..

why are these stories and synopsis so cryptic..

So the "queen" of the entertaiment world was betrayed by the office guy? And abandoned to rot and died mysteriously. No word about her bff from the start or the picture. Then ad to that secret "stat" cards all entertainers have and a mysterous woman who has failed 3 times... On top of that she is beautiful and has 3 cards? And from the synopsis.. she marries the dude throu a contract all to find the trouth or to become next queen..

This might finaly be a great Ml!

Fl sleepwalks causing her maid to wory, and love her even more.
One night she was told to saty inside, her instincts tell her to leave. As she walks around, the madness driven Ml senses her and goes off rout. (he was ment to go kill and drink the sacrifice, but when into the woods after FL)
In the woods FL comes across the lake from her dream, she falls in but her energy dosnt settle down, it gets more active casuing her to crawl out of the water and lay on the ground in "pain" i guess.
Like in the dream Ml comes and fined her but unline in the dream he isnt covered in blood nor chase her! He walks over and kisses her and likes her neck and after a bit of time he bites her shoulder drawing blood. Fl comes to and leaves, Ml gets his senes back and remembers what happend (first time ever) and has no thirst!.

The day arives for FL to meet Ml and serve him, she falls into his lap and he is happy, she is shocked and blushese. They end up kissing as the energy is only settles by physcial contact with Ml and Ml's thirst and pain is only quenches by her blood and kissing / afection twards FL!

Ml cares for FL and orders a hush on her "healing power" to protect her. And also orders his men to keep an eye on the other comcubines (prob future problems).
It seems ML is understanding and has great insight into how the village would have treated FL! So he goes out of his way to try and make her happy, this includes him personaly teaching her how to read and write!
Also unlike in other mangas it seems Ml get repulsed by other femakles physcialy contact after Ml and Fl's frist night together :P

There is another comcubine, who grew up in the slums and was scouted to becomes a comcubine, she is prety and hase a nice body, but Ml only drinks with her and when he does he thinks of FL :P and then the comcubine gets upset and tries to touch him, Ml feels scik and when she starts to undress and touch him:P his lower half dosnt "react" and he leaves thinking of FL and of spoiling her :P

Wait her mom was to gready. But earlier in trhe chapter FL stated that her father was confined to the building she chose to live in when he was young because he was picked on and the only person that was there for him and genuinly cared for him was the young maid her monther. And that he loved said maid.. SO how was her mother gready if they loved eacother but he was forced to marry his wife as the "head " of the family but chose to have a relationship with the maid who then demanded their child have equal rights as a child born by the "wife"? How was her mother gready? That just seems like an exuse made by the wife to get rid of the maid and he accepted it and punished FL.. From the look of it the dad is nothing but a pushover who cant say shit to his wife because shes the reason he got the power he has.

The Hero starts to like her after the slap because he saw her being mistreate and her bearing it all, then the hearing his stories he felt the wall lessen and becomes interetsed and notices the treatment of her (Starts to not like the prince so much)

The prince starts to like her because of her saying "im not marying you because i love you, im doing it becauase our families aranged it" and he is like "SO all that you love me was just fake". Her going "no i loved you, in the past" and leaves makes him go want her.. like always onece the person thay didnt want atention from leaves and stops they start wanting said person..
I dont know if FL tries to kill Helena i know she gets blames for it and so on and that she askes her love intrest to kill her because she knows the 3ML's will try and forcfully reivive her after her execution.. SO her lover kills her and burns her body as her last with.
She goes back to modern world and lovintrest was reincarnated there :)

I have read spoilers from forums and other places and most ppl feel Helena is inocent and a victim of cercumstances..

I however do not feel that way. the exuses ppl are giving her are.
1: She cant stand to se ppl unhappy so she comforts them.. (Then why the hell dosnt she comfort FL?).
2: She is the childhood friend of FL, the prince and the hero.. (NO she is the childhood playmate of the prince and the Hero, FL was seen as a neucance by them only alowed there because she was the princes fiance).
3: She is a commoner and cant go against the prince who islikes FL... (eh.. she is a commoner and child of the princes nanny.. the queen aka princes mother bestoved her with the homor of being the princess playmate and above all servants in the palace..so shes a commoner above commoners equal to a nobel but with no nobel duties or restrictions..)
4: The prince forces her to marry him... (SO WHAT? She knew she had feelings for her! She sees him hit his fiance and have the imperial doctor treat her own woulds.. something not even his fiance is alowed and is shoked he wants to marry her? She cant say no? HAS SHE EVER SAID NO TO HIM? NO!. Has she ever turned him down or said she only sees him as a friend or donst feel that way ... NO)
5: She has a sad painfull past...(when? she became the princes playmate and gained nobel priveliges at 5yo.. so how hard were those 5 years? Compared to FL who sufferd from the princes verbal and physical attacks ever sins they were engaged and after for over 17years?).
6: The prince restrict her so she cant move out of his signt / is controling.... (ehm.. then plz explain how she randomly with no guards meet the other Ml's while stroling and doing what she likes? also she runs around the palace with no guards or escorts? She is way more free than FL ffs!).

Onestly Helena is a biach. SHe plays inocent and may be so by nature but she choses to ignore the fact that the prince has feelings for her and favors her while infron of his fiance no less and still has the galls to say "we are friends" to the fiance to use as an exuse to not be formal. This despite FL having told her do not speak informal to me!
She then activly only calms down the prince when it has to do with her own gain yet not whe its the prince misundertanding Fl? During the slap, she dindt try to explain the misunderstanding, correct the maid no defende fl. SHE PLAYED THE VICTIM! And yet she is inocent and donst know? Thats quite the exuse.
So when someone is acused of hurting you but didnt, a fals witness testifies and a inocent person is punished, its fine to hold your toung because "your the victim and your inocent"?
Fuck that justifcation. Lets just be honest Helena is a commoner yes, but also no.. NO commoner would be aloved to be the crown princes playmate! She is a commoner with the priveliges of a nobel, this means she is a bove all the palace servants, donst need to work, clean or shit. She can order the servants around and can speak informal to nobels with no consequences!. She is even treated better than the princes fiance! How the hell is she a victim? On top of the the exuse she cant stand to see ppl hurt.. donst cut it! She cant stand to see men unhappy, but what about women? Nowhere has her helping a person of the same gender been seen not even in the novel! In other words she cant stahn seeing men unhappy and dose everything in her power to pleas them. But not women!
When the prince slaped FL Helena didnt try to help or pleas fl, she tried to pleas the prince who was in the worng! Now plz do tell me HOW IS SHE INOCENT?
