It's so frustrating. All of the characters, including the Male Lead, Female Lead, the loyal retainer of the duke. I hate it because the story relied to "Oh it will turn out good anyway", the fact that:
1. There were many clues that Laritte is illegitimate daughter and he saw the obvious odd things from her, from how she survived in shabby house as "a loving noble lady" till how is despised being called Rose.
2. Lariette said "the duke should not know my real name", it's understandable. I thought the name "Rose" is still the duchess, but instead it's already her name. Why shouldn't the duke? He will know eventually because "Laritte" is the duchess.
3. The loyal retainer still thought that "you should just married Rose, instead the illegitimate daughter". Bij, this type of person can betray you easily. I will make sure that the loyal retainer got fired. How dare she. "If Rose was here and not me, your master would be dead as A TRAITOR. If you still think Rose is the perfect match, then fck off from the dukedom because if not because of me, you are no longer the part of Reinhardt Dukedom."

Don't worry everyone! I almost caught off guard because of the negative comments. In the surface, the ML looked like an asshole. He is not! I don't want to to defend him honestly hahaha, because he could have prevented the FL to not get hurt. The FL is clearly a 10/10 . She is mature emotionally and logically. She is also naive yet smart. She is also a great communicator. She doesn't need to grow, but she needs to heal. Meanwhile the ML is 10/10 with a fatal flaw. He is bad at communication! No matter amazing how one of the pair , communication needs to be from both party. The problem was the ML didn't do that! That made all of those happy days felt like a nightmare, to be exact: "a lie". Everything.. The one and only mistake became the unforgivable mistake. The ML needs to have his own development. I believe we will see it. It's already shown some green flags in the season 1. So don't worry! Just enjoy looking at the cute kid for now!

I saw a few comments saying that they hate the FL. This is why accumulated manipulation is very dangerous. It was revealed on the later story. I was actually kinda know what was the core of the mess, I made a comment before. It was all the ML's fault. Kinda disbelief as well.. I knew it doesn't make sense that the ML being toxic is because he didn't get feel loved when he was still a child.. Something is not in line in the beginning of the story. But now it makes sense! Why? Because that fuckin ML loves her as a possession! Thank God their son is sane! Also I was surprised by the FL's maid (the pink haired lady).. She is the best character in the story, might as well said she was the MVP. She showed us that feelings and logic can be used as an consideration.

This is really an amazing story. I hope people who read it broaden their perceptive. I could see that the problem came from the environment as soon as I read the story, but I know not everyone can catch those clues as keen as people like me. But I hope they could see how terrifying their remarks after knowing the real truth.
