I think the cloth was probably darker than what the artist drew it to be. Idk why but I noticed this is actually pretty common where an artist will use a veil to give the character a disguise and it’s just translucent but then the description makes it more obvious that it was more a stylistic choice so that the readers can see their face
no i realise that much the author probably made it dark enough so u can’t see the face at all. and i get what you mean cause probably all artist does that to focus on the mc face but i just mean she probably could’ve been more careful since it is still just a hat and it is HER OWN FAKE DEATH funeral like why she got us all stressin
