The fact that I thought I was gonna read a fluffy s&m story and it turned into understanding the characters in so much depth psychologically is amazing. We have got scenes from the past interpreted from both characters so differently. The fact that the ml did not understand love and it ate him up inside and the struggles from both characters is so interesting. I have a psychology background (PhD student) I like the author has wrote both characters. Mc is fluffy on the outside but struggles inside. Ml is perceived as a sadist that’s hiding something but is struggling with the concept of love and his rough childhood. When he finally cried he finally let all those feelings out and it was amazing.
