1- by being attracted to him when she didn’t realize it was the emperor, which led to them sleeping together
2- by enjoying the conversations they had in their shared “dreams,” which is when she started having feelings for him. Back then she even kept telling herself not to confuse the two because she didn’t know he wasn’t just a fictive version of her imagination. Hence why in this latest chapter, she mentions how she can’t believe that she STILL has feelings for him.

That was a manipulation from him. He's not even like that. He led her to believe he'd kill her or the kids. His actions made her feel like her life in danger. And he knew all along.

C. No, he didn’t lead her to believe shxt; she assumed and jumped to all types of conclusions. And she damn well knew he wouldn’t kill her when she finally found out the truth. While I’m glad she turned him down because her pride and self-respect wouldn’t allow her to just obediently become what he wanted out of her, let’s not fool ourselves into thinking that she thought he’d kill her when she ran.
I bet you’ll bring up how he told her “If one did appear, they would be lying. And I’d make her pay for it.” which is what he said when the FL asked him about how he’d react to a woman claiming he fathered her child… A question she asked him right after he’d been done dealing with a woman who tried to make him believe she was the one. Before he even said that to the FL, he explained that he knew the actual woman wouldn’t confess (knowing it was her). The FL misunderstanding his meaning because she was overwhelmed and biased (again, because of rumors) is one thing, but I’m not sure why it’s an argument some readers keep using.
Sure, his approach sucks and he seriously needs to work on himself and he’s not some Prince Charming, but you sound like you’re looking at this entire situation like it’s a black and white ordeal and I just don’t see that.
