To see a child who had been put into slavery and basically make him a slave again but he gets food and wont get hit
Also this pace is just....

This narrative is wrong yes they are royalty but they cant do whatever they want unless we talking Tyrant rulers here. The monarchy still has to adhere and give voice to the nobles so they could not jus give the kid a position. You have to remember he is a commoner and ontop of that a slave what noble family was going to take him in? They definitely couldn't put the kid in the army and he couldn't have a position unless he was adopted into a noble family, which is impossible so they made him a servant in the palace.

I don't think its wrong though, you have to work to live, and especially inthese kind of medieval settings, its to be expected. If i'm not mistaken they had shifts and she just happens to see him while he was working. They can't just let him stay for free unless they want to leave him to an orphanage

But she's damn near 40 acting like this? Damn she's annoying

"But if you are 10 years old, only do things a 10 year old would do" refer to chapter 4 or 5. Also, this is a different story from others. Thinking they're a "prodigy" is unnecessary when she has no major role (et: Lead or Villainess) She's destined to die during the early to medium stages of the story. Her pretending to not be immature works, seeing as how you're holding her against it. Also he thought process is childish?????????? He's maure 'cause he also went back in time, why do you think his attitude towards their relatiomnship changed?
Got damn.
