can't wait for arc where the only way samyeong can escape from this brutal bug eyed cursed emperor is to kinda kill himself---and even then i think he would follow samyeong to the underworld to drag him back to his side if samyeong ever did die.
i get it's a bl manhwa but are some you guys truly unable to even simply analyse the narrative and characters without focusing on the potential romantic dynamic of the main leads. like there is more to the story than who ian ends up with. he speaks of how his relation to one of his subordinates (and his betrayal) affects him and his relation to being in the gang n his own self-perception and all u guys do is uhhhhh who is the endgame... there's MORE characters to think off! and their supporting roles are inherent to the plot! tjian joian don't exist in some plot vacuum.
Everyone has different outlook, when they read something, can't be helped.
Also my only source of knowing what's happening in the story is comment section, I'm curious but this story is just not for me
i wouldn't mind if people had more to comment on their outlook if it wasn't so fixated on the love triangle dynamic but that's what most comments are. "who is the endgame" "i don't want x to end up with y". but maybe i'm being too much of a pedant for ppl to want to comprehend the story from a critically.
and it's pretty rash to judge and dismiss the plot of story (which you haven't read) based on people's biased reviews/comments but that's your prerogative ig.
I have read but I haven't read this season, so I know what you mean but let it go, don't let it get to you otherwise you'll start getting annoyed, knowing who's ending with who is also interesting, for some that was one of the reason why they started reading this story in the first place, so for them plot comes second.

nah she’s right. the authors putting a lot of effort into the this story only for ppl to focus on the couple and don’t get me wrong, i did start reading for the romance aspect too just like im sure most ppl here, but i respect the plot enough to pay attention to it esp cause its such a clearly thought out story. ppl can read for wtv reason they want to read, but we’re still allowed to criticize them for it as well. the whole point of comments is to share your opinion and op made a great point !! it’s unfortunate that so many ppl still don’t care or will brush it off anyway tho
is it just me…not only is there a sudden subtle change in art style but the artist is also not drawing both their eyes for some reason?? even in a perspective in which both eyes should be visible?? it’s kinda unnerving (also the art style making seokjin and his mom look the same age in the flashback…)
The translation is alright but arrangement of the pages seems wonky and it’s mixing up the timeline i kinda got frustrated reading it, so I found the novel. It’s much better than the manhua imo and the translation quality is pretty good. It’s around 50 chapters & it’s fully translated on novel updates.
