this has quite the realistic portrayal of a chaebol marriage (and the attempt of its dissolution). yoonshin’s sister is suffering abuse and infidelity in her marriage…despite marrying into wealthy and luxury and even if she wins the divorce case from the legal perspective, suhan (her husband’s conglomerate) has enough power to control how media perceives her and make her life a living hell. even before that, the korean social and judicial system is absurdly patriarchal and misogynistic, yigyeong (the sister) is bound to be on the losing end (hopefully not with kang seheon on her legal team). plus they have kids from the marriage so the custody battle will be even more harrowing gosh.
