I mean in the second half of the chapter where he was talking with Yohan, then also he is looking like a kid. He used to look very different in past chapters which used to suit him but not anymore.
The art is indeed good but it gets very messy and hard to understand. Wish the art was cleaner, I don't understand most of the things that are happening.
I think it's the artist trying to be cinematic.
It kinda works if you're a fast reader/swiper so rather than looking at the panel thoroughly you have to match the storys' story telling pace kinda?
I'm not an expert though so this is just me trying to rationalize how the art is presented.
i agree, i love this type of art direction, actually. cinematic is the exact word i’d use. every scene is imbued with such drama and tension, and every composition feels so thought out. maybe i’m biased tho, cause i loved their previous work “the pale horse” too ;(
