I tried reading the novel of this and noticed the manhwa skipped a huge part of the the novel like when Athy went to the school and such. Also Claude lured Athy in the house during a "festival???" I think, through Athy's nanny. I just hoped they didn't cut that part because when Athy talked to her father after she came back from running away was actually heart breaking.

Apparently the manhwa do not follow the novel anymore. In the sides stories there is however, if memory serve me right, a different timeline in wich Athy had to take care of the Empire because her father was sick and she was criticised for not taken care of the Emperor as well as Jeanette. I think it might be the plotline of the manhwa.

We won't be seeing that part anymore. The webtoon creator, through the novel author's permission, decided to change the story a bit.
Kinda like the last season of Game of Thrones.
