So bad that egg farmer usually leave a fake eggs to let the Hens know that their eggs is still there. If a farmer take all of the hen's eggs, the hen usually got depressed from it.
So, I'd definitely think it's because he's attached to it.

Iirc I think when she whipped him and he told her to stop, it was different from when he pounded her and she told him to stop.
