I don’t really get why ppl don’t stop to think that maybe something else is going on with the cardinal and ruby, especially Freya and Izek…Freya has seen her ed and Izek has seen her whip markings, and then now after the kiss idk how Freya doesn’t notice the change in Ruby’s demeanor…but I guess its easier to say this when we r just the readers and we can see it all clearly
I like how the author actually shows ML like being horny for her lmaonot many actually show that
I hated him in the prequel and seeing how he has been chased before makes me hate him more cuz I don’t understand why he’d subject another witch to it…but seeing how much he loved his father (tho his solution to save him is kinda nasty too) I can kinda understand how a mentally fcked person could rationalize that
I’d say falls under dubcon for the first few chaps, but if u can get over it for the sake of the story it’s quite cute

Like they r making more “hints” and “chemistry” between characters that are shit for the FL, and supposedly the dude with absolutely no chemistry and who I coulda sworn like did not like FL at all before is supposed to end up as ML? We’ll see how the author spins it but feel like it’s ganna be hard
