like he went through all the precautions of trying to give sejin a better life than what he had in the previous one and tried to distance himself because he believes he is one of the root causes why sejin's so miserable but ofc he can't distance himself from the person who holds his heart and soul, he couldn't even if he knew it was for the best. i just know he's thinking of how selfish he is once again, berating himself for allowing his own actions to hurt sejin again when he probably promised himself he wouldn't. that's what probably drove him to attempt suicide
