kind of unrelated but still adding onto this, men sometimes struggle with telling platonic and romantic feelings apart in friendships with women since women have more of a emotional element to their friendships then men do, that's why when women and men establish a friendly Bond there is a 8/10 chance they will develop feelings because affection = love

i don't think it is like that. more like duke believes that roselia doesn't know. roselia has seen bodies being carried out and she has read the novel. of course she knows. she might be misunderstood about Ain, because she thinks he hasn't been corrupted yet but she does knows about Cassius and his line of work.
