I hate when character do the “my friend likes me, I’ll pretend to date another person” like you don’t gain anything. They end up hurting their friend more than if they just reject them. It is so selfish to lie to your friend just to keep them around.
I still need to see them go through 2nd, 3rd year and then apply to college, move in together , graduate, get married :’(
