Is the comic different than the donghua? (Chinese anime ver) cuz I watched the first season and like there was almost little to no romance between the two. Also if it is different is the second season more intimate and shit? Cuz my dads watching it with me and he doesn't know its gay
The donghua has only made it up to season 2 and there aren't a lot of BL scenes, but we're uncertain if the producers will even add any later on. The season 3 PV 2 shows a couple of WangXian scenes, so I'm guessing there will be more romance in it then. The manhua is different since there is a kissing scene and more to come. The donghua and manhua are also structured differently, as the flashbacks in the donghua are played in chronological order, while in the novel and manhua the flashbacks are shown when a related scene occurs. Yes yes some scenes where in the donghua that is not really canon in the novel/manhua. The novel one is has more of uh steamy romance between wangxian while we don't know if it'll get drawn here in the manhua and probably not gonna get animated cuz of Chinese censorship
