Not much to remember. I reread it yesterday. Cecile was the illegitimate child of a small country Nabita and grew up in a small annex with 3 maids. She got married off to the emporer by chance (dice) and made a big fuss which got her noticed by him. Also called him hot and wasn't scared of him so her lack of etiquette also got attention. His father experimented with powerful blood that made people die amd he's the only one who survived but he hears voices telling him to kill people and he needs to see blood regularly in order to stay sane, but Cecile cancels all that out with her powers. She made a much of fake scenes going on about jewels and flirting with the emporer. There was the part about Aled, the powerful spirit stored in a gem by the elf king because he talks too much. Aled is researching about the blood for the emporer.

Side note, Irene was obsessively in love with the emporer and the author got isekaid into the body of the Saint and tried to assassinate Cecile in order to somehow take over her body. Cecile also had access to a book given by her childhood maid that taught her about magical creatures and things.

The Reason why Sabelian was so detached to his wife and his daughter was because he has a kind of trauma that son became a phobia. Wherein he can’t stand being touched by women,that happen when he marries sabelian first wife (which was blanche’s mother) he was force to have romantic relationship with her and have s*x at such a young age.

Unlike what the OP appears to believe, taking the ML's side here is nothing like excusing his behavior because of reasons. Instead, it's exactly like not blaming a woman with postpartum depression for having postpartum depression in the first place.

Plus from what other spoilers I've read it seems like Sabelian actually thought the way he was raising her would be less abusive than trying to shower her with love only to have her trust later betrayed by something he thinks of as 'normal'.

Finally, as you said on another post, the ML did try to keep the stepmother from abusing the daughter but when he ripped up the bunny for that reason everyone trashed him. It was like they despised him for doing the very things they accused him of not doing in the first place.

Is the first wife way more older than sabelian?

I mean it's odd to me how people take things to the extreme one way or the other. It's either: 1. If you have a reason your actions are excused or 2. If you have a reason your actions can never be excused; What? I know I say that reasons aren't relevant but that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of other things involved that can affect whether a person is at fault or not. And in Sabelian's case it's clear and present trauma that makes him react defensively which underlines his lack of fault.
