I'd recommend reading from the start. There's definitely more details in the novel because you can see Xiao Yuan's thought process about everything and him just basically misunderstanding a lot of things ╮(￣▽￣)╭.
There's some scenes in the novel that were sort of skipped here. It gives a bit more continuity to the story plus it sort of explains why some characters do some things. Plus you get more interactions between the characters so its more impactful when something happens.
I hope my explanation is understandable
TLDR: Manhwa does a good job presenting the novel but read it for more details (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
