Also, his monologue made him sound 10x more heartless than was intended.

Y’all can keep calling them both weak cause you refuse to acknowledge the strength in their actions, but I just don’t agree. I don’t think they’re weak at all, Sooae specifically because we haven’t seen Eunhyeok take that step yet. But Sooae having the ability to follow her heart despite the hurt, being able to see Eunhyeok is struggling with something and willingly trying to get answers, to help him and understand where and why things went wrong.. You might think that’s weak but I think it’s so incredibly brave. And Eunhyeok hasn’t done it yet, but if he’s returned to the root of his trauma (not Sooae) then he’s taking steps in the right direction, I just hope he starts opening up more and soon because holding onto whatever he is hiding, is NOT helping.
I’ve actually put myself in her shoes. If I loved someone that much, they left me and came back 10 years later, I would undoubtedly despise them.. But if I found out there was a reason, I think my heart would falter too. All Eunhyeok needs to do is explain himself. EXPLAIN and BEG for forgiveness.
Also, people keep saying love should be easy.. Love is one of the most difficult and complex things to exist. Love is hard, love takes effort, love takes understanding and sometimes it takes forgiveness. That doesn’t include cheating, physical and mental abuse or things along those lines.. Absolutely not referring to any of that. But love is sometimes scary, simply because it’s not always easy. Love becomes easy when you learn to love someone the way they need to be loved and by growing together.

I’m really not into these psychological, mystery, in love w family members (partners) - type of manhwas. I still read them.. But they’re not really my taste in saying that, I think ts is weird. I don’t hate it, but I honestly won’t be able to get past the ML sleeping with the mum first. I read harems like that and don’t find it completely odd, so idk why this one just seems icky to me. Maybe bc even though it has smut, that’s not the base plot. I like that it’s not a cliche story, but idk!!!! I think I’m being contradicting.
I’m trying so hard not to be a hater. But at this point she is just hypocritical and dumb. There’s misunderstandings.. And then there’s playing into shit that you KNOW isn’t right. She acted all tough infront of that other guy, only to do exactly what she said she wouldn’t do. We had a whole breakup arc because she said she couldn’t trust him, he hides stuff and isn’t honest.. Only to go and do the SAME things. I can’t even tell if it’s insecurity or ignorance at this point. She keeps having inner thoughts of doing the right thing, only to not do any of it. The sex is not making up for it at this point.
& I’m trying to empathise with her but there’s no logical reason to do so. This isn’t a trauma or betrayal response, there’s no dangerous situation.. Like there’s literally nothing that makes her actions make sense. Just constantly contradicting herself. And all because she’s worried he still likes his ex.
