Well I dont think its that bad, He is timid thats the point some ppl just don't magically get over that, which is really understanable.
Look I get it, its so slow burn and looks dumb asf but then that just means you dislike so much characters that are timid (most of this critics are especially hard on soft boys).

I didn't attack his personality because i know that feeling, where you just cower in fear because of other's presence. Im a fudanshi so i encountered different types of male personae while reading, and soft boys are no exceptions. I love their personality and such but my point did not revolve around that.
