Im all for bashing on all the men in this story especially the prince. All men in this story ahould just fuck off (prince can drop dead) aside from anakin and jason. Ask yourself who is the main character to helena that helena should go out of her way to fight and protect for? Cause the answer to that is nothing. The main character to Helena is someone who has tortured, beatened and humiliated her, in fact Helenas affection for the MC is only that of pity. Thats why she forgave the MC, she pitied the MC but also felt similarities in their situation, she gave the MC an inch and all yall demanding a fucking mile that she doesnt have to give. People in the damn palace are fucking lunatics that will kill you and make your life an even more living hell especially when theyre obsessed with you. I dont see anything wrong with looking out for yourself. Everyone else is stepping and crushing other peoole for their own selfish reasons. Why cant she? Tell me why cant she do the same? Answer me that, tell me why is it ok for the main character to not help and comfort Helena while Helena is being criticized being selfish in trying to live a comfortable life?
