(Posted this as a reply to queenofsleeps post but i want it as a comment of its own.) It's a valid question and since we're on the topic. Why isnt she questioning the change of events? I mean unlike her being isekai'ed this time she regressed back to when she was 10 she should know most of what happens already. Especially the sudden interest in magic for jade and why it had to be his crazy uncle that teaches him. Like so many basic and much needed questions and yet shes not asking any of them nor is she bothered by it. And same goes for jade. Im not sure its his second life cause welp its not confirmed yet and also im just not sure since hes also not questioning her drastic change. Like how shes talkative or how shes been acting different towards him and her dad. Also he said nightmares so it might be like flashbacks or something idk. (Check out queen of sleeps question that just below my comment.)
I'm pretty sure he regressed as well. A lot of thing point to it. He doesn't need to learn swordsmanship because he is already so good at it. This wasn't the case I'm the past life. Now with his memories of the past he only needs to build muscles and muscle memory but doesn't need to learn from the beginning. The way he looks at MC's mothers portrait. Because MC will look like that in a few years and that is the way she looked in the last memory of her he has.
Correct i also know that there are many signs of him regressing like how he didnt bother to learn swordsmanship since hes already mastered it and goes on to learn magic. Also how he knew what to send to his uncle. Or the fact that h knows his uncle. Which means hes regressed. But my problem with being certain about it is how he regressed but plot goles are just not making it 100% for me. But yes i agree hes regressed just a small 5% of my brain going "is he really?".
