Bruh ML is so passive I cannot deal. Disregards others' feelings and wallows in his own self-pity. What fucking bullshit. Him and Ayaka are both fucked up with their treatment of each other. She's too bitter and he's a wimp. Has nothing to do with him manning up, just find a balance in your relationship. Hope FL doesn't end up with anybody and finds contentment and confidence in herself instead of focusing on another romance.
I do think about ML like you. On the other hand, I think the girls expect too high from him. I guess the characters here depicts real life that nobody is perfect.
It might seem that way, however in the story the ex girlfriend expected from the ML was to maintain a sexual relationship and for him to be more forthright. Which I believe is the bare minimum. But I do admit the way the ex girlfriend responded and handled his issue of erectile dysfunction was damaging and unhelpful. They weren't taking the steps to make it work. If you're in a relationship, you should try and work things out and attend to you and your partner's needs if you really want to keep your relationship healthy and steady. On the other hand, the FL likes the ML but he's still too attached and submissive toward his ex. It isn't clear what she expects but I can guess that she wants him to stop listening to his ex and focus on her? Not too sure. But yeah I agree that nobody is perfect and this is realistic to a certain degree however I I that the ex girlfriend's expectations of the ML while they were in the relationship were not at all high, but her expectations of him after their relationship ended were unreasonable.
Yes, after writing the comment I remembered that the FL’s suggestion of moving back with ML (chap28) doesnt feel right at that time. Its not fair for her. I hope they can work things out as adult soon.
