the possibility isnt as high as you make it seem, although it said there will be a digital bonus a lot of mangas bait with mpreg and never actually go through with it. something as simple as world building around a genre that is known for mpreg or using a breeding or pregnancy fetish as dirty talk and implying that there will be babies is very common. this manga is also not as popular as others in this category

I read this since it was a new release and the seme is maybe the worst character I've read,not like toxic but the way he's written, i get that he's a soldier or whatever but he didn't show any signs of romantic emotion once even in his own inner monologues,is he emotionally stunted or what i really like the uke but it's tiring to read a couple(?) with ZERO chemistry
I'm pretty sure the plan is for them to build chemistry as time goes on. I am off the belief that we only get to see a part of the seme's personality to make him look way worse than he is. The worst things he has done were at the behest of the Emperor and I forget where but one of his actions have me the impression that he took his job because he thinks that he's rather have to do it than someone else who could either be hurt, or hurt others worse because of/through it.
It may not go this way but if I were the author, the seme would actually be a kind person who is capable of taking a life if he has to. He tries to do his job by taking the least amount of lives possible and helping as many people as he is feasibly able to.
I also got the feeling he wasn't fond of his boss and is doing everything to thwart him from the inside as he can without coming to any harm himself.
Now I may be reading too much into this, and the fact that I find him insanely attractive could be swaying my opinion of him, but it's largely why I keep reading this manwha. So much of the background bureaucracy has me convinced he's working against the Emperor but in such subtly ways he'd never be found. I believe it so much I was genuinely relieved it looks like uke will be caught and his planned poisoning foiled.
On top of this, (hehe, top) uke's family were going to be killed by the Emperor no matter who did it. Had it been someone else, he'd likely also have died as it isn't a new practice to have ones entire family hunted down when treason is involved, and despite which side you may be on, treason is treason.
Thank you for the explanation really interesting to read but I was talking about his feelings towards uke not in general...yeah I do love building chemistry and bond as the story goes on and don't like a lovey dovey couples from chapter 1 but it's been 52 chapters and only person with semi developed feelings seems like uke to me,in my opinion there's still absolutely no sign of this dude seeing uke other than his personal fvck toy but it might just be me...
