I felt strangely detached from both of these stories. Neither of them had a lot of closure at the end and I didn't find myself feeling much for any of the characters—even though there were (overly) dramatic events like Rape, Early Death, and Suicide Attempts. Idk why that is, but that was my experience with it. : ╮( ̄o ̄)╭

I DIDNT REALIZE CHIHARU WAS BEING LITERAL AT FIRST—like i thought he was just gon declare his love—I didn't think he'd str8 up start choking a muthafucka out WHAT
LIKE WHY WOULD HE EVEN NEED TO DO THAT ANYWAY
and HOW THE FUCK WAS KAZUKI LIKE "it's okay chiharu i'm so happy you kept me from leaving (▰˘◡˘▰)"
BICH HE WAS ABOUT TO KEEP YOU FROM LIFEEEEE. just omfg
The author's romanticization of the rapist brother was gross and horrible. The rape in the first chapter was intensely traumatic and it's creepy how eager the characters and the mangaka were to forget about it.
