The art definitely improved but the characters are a bit downgrade. I love the previous works because the ukes fight the seme's possessiveness and eventually they are able to win and achieve equality. In here, the uke is helpless, I hope the characters improve in a way.

Instead of living in the capital and participating in endless political war, they chose to live in Stern. A very good decision. At this point, even tho the king want richt to be a part of the family in the capital and regain his honor, I feel like he's a bit unreliable. They want richt to be their third wheel in governing the kingdom and expect him to constantly maintain peace when he could only do so much. I also sympathize with meloda, Richt is truly at fault there and Peony speech is not helping. It's a bit unfair that Richt get to have a character development while the side characters aren't. I'm happy to know he knows he's at fault and can now relate to normal people. He now know the importance of love because he loves peony. But a lot of people lost their love ones because they follow Richt. Wish there were side stories that focuses on side characters to give justice to them.
