his dad dropped off on a random island and told him to stay with a stranger he's never met before. he's a young adult who's hurt and felt abandoned and took it out on the grandma he didn't even know he had. i mean... it's the first chapter. obviously he's going to grow attached to the people on the island and his grandma.

Yes but Not exactly love, he want to possess her, and he is not her brother, Serdina changed his hair colour to look white as a symbol of royalty so everyone including Leah thinks he is her brother.

Yes as we know Serdina is a powerful Tomari when Leah and Blaine were 4-5 years old Serdina approached the king manipulated and control him to believe that Blaine is his child and as under spell the king announced Blaine as the prince and Serdina slowly killed Leah's mother the actual empress. Okay first Blaine's father is never mentioned in the novel, I only assumed that Serdina used him for wealth and power and killed him. And second I don't remember but I think in the manga too Leah's monther is shown warning her.
And yes Serdina will get punished for all that she has done and will do, our Ishakan will see to that, but let me earn you she has just started she will do way worse thi gs in future to control Leah she is manipulate her memories into replacing Ishakan in her memories with Blaine thinking that all the nice things Ishakan did were done by Blaine( trust me you would want to punch this mother and son at that point).
She will poison her slowly but Leah's brave baby from her belly will save her, untill his daddy arrive.
