What has been your experience with the donghua so far? Do you think the approach director took with the adaptation was a good decision?

The biggest gripe I have with the adapation so far is the whole fucking...episodic approach it took. I thought LOM is one of the stories where you have to tell the story gradually to build up tension and "mystery"- to give the audience a room to breathe and process the informations before the big BANG. Not to mention, modification and rearrangement of plots, removing and shortening some of the impactful and emotional moments (specially with his family cuz it wont work in extra content), shortening(and removing) klein's personal training, the whole seer potion digestion process and the "acting" etc.- every single thing I mentioned have impacted the natural progression of such an amazing story. This pacing has also ruined the whole "coincidence" part of the plot and have made the events feel unnatural and isolated imo. I know we still have 8 more episodes(?) but I'm still let down let's see how they tackle the future events, tho I'm gonna have low expectations moving forward
