I paused reading this for a while 'coz I started this mainly for the romance so I wasn't particularly enjoying the relatively long capitalist segments.
How is it now?
Has the main plot moved on considerably or is it still mainly focused on the side quests necessary for her to achieve her goal?
Disclaimer:
Mind u, I'm not saying this manwha is bad.
It's just a matter of preference.

Oh! Yea..... It's just... the sidequests for this one felt particularly long and uninteresting for me
Like in other historical romance manwha I've read, it kinda felt like they go thru 3-4 sidequests before they can move the main plot along.
But for this, it felt like she goes thru 10
(^_^;)
BUT this is just a personal preference/experience thing
For others, this sort of sidequests are fun.... but for me it isn't :P

- Claude is Cee and the *new* pope and has some sort of deal with the dragon.... they're hatching a plan to correct the wrongs of the current monarchy
- Roose will be part of some sort of sacrifice to give the fake saint powers and the Mage may be indirectly or directly involved in this scheme
- there's something special about the red brooch of the prince. It might be playing with his mind, part of some ritual to give them power, or is taking something away from him

Given that brief flashback..... he was raped wasn't he?
That's why he doesn't like women, and doesn't want to associate with MC & Noah as they are triggers for his trauma.....
At least he didn't physical abuse the child and provided for his basic needs (somewhat) unlike in some stories....
Though I know that doesn't entirely excuse his neglect, it does make it understandable to an extent
BUT I can feel the tears coming w/each chapter
