Was all of her suffering for nothing? This is one I was actually so into, I read ahead in the novel. I don't understand why they're leaving so much out?? This arc is what makes the ending feel worth it

the exposition of the novel on WHY and HOW she came up with the decision is CRUCIAL to understanding and accepting her rationale for choosing that action that allowed her to fulfill the last condition
