? Who?
I completely forgot who ha songsu(?) is..... and what's his beef w/the mc?

I completely forgot about him. I think he was some kind of acquaintance and been together for a raid when Gigyu was a little boy starting figuring out his strength (based on the pictures). Putting that Hanso aside, who is that long haired guy btw? I think I've seen him before. Gosh, do I need to reread this to remember again? (rhetorical question)

Gosh, what's happening to the characters are horrendous. it's painful to read adn their treatment of mc is horrendous. But when I think about it, it kinda fits the setting
It's apparent that their powers come with a psychological backlash and the more powerful they are, the stronger the backlash. And then add to that their reaally bad backstories (ie torture/human experiments for shinje) + their psyche is stretched to the limit each time they enter a dungeon + apparently even outside, they're experiencing side effects of dungeon dives. In other manwhas, for some miracle, the ace team are able to hold on to their sanity one way or another. But what if they don't/were unable to?
Well, I thinj this story gives an example of what would happen if the ace team couldn't but still has to push themselves to fight.
Don't get me wrong, this doesn't make their behavior acceptable/tolerable, but it adds to the sadness of the situation

I paused at chapter 3... so is the mc (necromancer) gonna have a wonferful characters development (aka grow a spine) or will he remain whiny / dependent on dawon?

He does have alot of character development throughout the story. If you expect him to be like some shounen mc and suddenly get op it will never happen. mc knows his limits and tries his best to do beyond what even he can manage at times which has negative ramifications on his psyche and body. The story is realistic for the setting. The story reads more like a psychedelic horror for the most part.

MC is not whiny if you think about the setting of the story. Necromancer is a class that mc practically pioneers because no other of his class has advanced to his level of mastery. He will always have his limits in combat as his class is not designed for him to solo combat things. I will say that later on the story delves deeper into his psychological strength and just how much the familiar contracts take a toll on him and how he learns to deal with his various circumstances.

Like seriously, can she not end with any of the original capture targets? I don't really feel any chemistry between them. Especially the black haired dude.
I'm kinda wishing that it ends with the siblings.... romantic or platonic
Or maybe push the choosing of an ml far into the future (maybe just a snippet in the extras or somethings) and not be a center point of the story?
Heh. Been a while since I read a story were both sides caused the misunderstanding.
1. boy, don't make a move when the other is drunk. Things get haazyy
2. Seriously? And you wonder about why things are awkward between u? U friggin avoided him and acted hesitant to interacted with him for so long!
