I also think she’s trying to get his help to break off her engagement with her current fiancé. I think it’s in a time where women’s engagements were decided by the family/fathers and they can’t break them off themselves so she’s going to ask this Duke dude for help.
But I totally get that. I wish we had more mangas that showed that women don’t need a man to help them get stuff done. She’s perfectly capable with getting the materials needed to create those potions with her abilities and if they changed the story a little to where she gets so strong she wouldn’t need a man to help her break off some engagement she could do it herself.

I think it's the brother that is the Female lycan that's why he had told him to take care of his scent.
But I also think that despite the brother being the Female lycan, Hwa is attracted to his scent as opposed to the brother. I don't think a scent can linger that long on a person. Unless there is going to be an underlying pseudo love triangle theme going on.
In conclusion, he can't get wet because he is not a female lycan.
Tidbit of a spoiler-ML is the sick one and the other are just for comedy relief purpose . For that other guy he captured our MC and tried to turn her in because red eyes-evil doctor- and saw her act suspiciously. Good person but not our ML.

Actually, I love the harem vibe, but not actually being a harem manga, I think I could see a few ships and tragedy happening.
For me, when it all comes down to it, it’s basically how humanity really doesn’t try to show their hurt and seek real comfort(therapy) because they know that society will think that you’re weird and have no redeeming qualities. It’s all about brain health.
Society should care more about it and advertise many different varieties of healing treatment-like connecting you to friends who you could trust unconditionally and loves you. And actually give a damn to the citizens’ brain health.
But life is life and reality is reality. Like in this manhwa(?), we can see it at the end- ML wasn’t thinking about his mom anymore but Bum. Remember that he call for him before that damn old lady suffocated him and kill him.
Above all I very sympathies with Bum, he didn’t really get the closure he needed and won’t ever escape from ML. That’s when “grace” comes to him in a form of hallucinations of ML to get himself kill. After all, ML really was the one who shows him warmth and darkness at the same times and he’ll never escape from it. Especially with nobody who really seems to understand him. So him dying is the best escape he could cope with. But seeing how he really does understand the ML and survive him show that he could somehow found his own happiness.
Above all-brain health. It’s all about the brain health and how there actually was no dang connection to therapy for this type of victims at all in SK, or the world in general .
