Its kinda aweful that the doctor from ch 20 iish, hell many of the servants from the past life, all blamed our uke for the semes crazy actions. That's straight up victim blaming. Its one thing such as the someone instigating a colfict or reaction and it's something else when someone insane hurts others cause they're upset.
Honestly since the servants kept blaming our uke for the kings behavior, i lost sympathy for them. Same with that doctor. I feel bad that he lost his son, but why blame the poor guy who's kidnapped and imprisoned
?
I understand the frustration with a stupid FL, but this one doesn't deserve it. If anything I find her admirable for having the courage to kill herself.
If you look at ch 1 again she took the poison AFTER the ML said some stupid inconsiderate things, like imply her feelings don't matter or that she's only good for baby making and not as a partner. (Key word is imply based on the interaction). Sure she had it there beforehand, but she took it once she felt truly hopeless regarding her future. Otherwise she would have taken it earlier.
The ML was in the wrong. He could have easily explained he loved her and wanted to help her kingdom or something, but he just says she and the country are his, showing a ruthlessness and that he didn't care for her. It's not just the rumors. Its his very actions that fed a bad reputation. Plus he bedded her without taking the time to explain to her his affections or that he cares for her.
Im a big fan of stories where a Male MC enters into an otome game. It's a good inversion of the genre, like the world of otome games is tough for mobs. Things is, the excecution of this story was bad. First day and so many girls are throwing themselves at him? He hasn't even done anything impressive. And that kinda lowers my opinion of the harem girls if they throw themsleves to this random guy. And there is very little influence of the otome game. If thats the case make it a generic historical world isekai. Its the chechoves gun were a detail (otome game world) has to be important to the story.
Dropped around ch 5. Characterization/interactions are very important for these type of stories, yet it failed that.
I really want to learn what the shitty prince thought in the other timelines. Sadly we know she will stay with him, so was he deserving of her love but unfortunate circumstances caused him to fail to protect her, or is this sadly going to have our FL ignore all the pain he caused her.
I kinda hate the naive types but do admire the self sacrificing type who hurt themselves knowing they would get hurt (emotionally/betrayed) by others. Those characters are amazing when written right. I can seeour MC trying to be like that but it falls a bit flat. Rather than forgiving she feels more like a push over.
I feel like the archdemon is her past lives lover and the prince is the friend who secretly loved her. Also really hate her 'friend'. Obliviousness can only excuse so much. She's suppose to be her friend. How can she be so blind to the pain she causes and now she's trying to get between someone's relationship. Either she's extremely selfish or she's a green tea bitch
You know i dont think the seme constitutes as a regular red flag. More like a sadist. For one (so far) everything has been consensual and despite some manipulation the uke really should be setting up boundaries. Id say its a red flag once they disregard those boundaries or go too far like the maipulation results in isolation or they do things like hurt their friends to isolate them.
Anyways the cover art looks way better, but the actual art is rather cute too.
I love a good revenge story, and i swear im a step closer to getting an aneurysm when the abuser gives a few crocodile tears and is quickly forgiven.
But, so far, it's not that. I really love that our MC just moved on and made decisions for herself. For her happiness. I still want to see consequences for the prince, but im happy seeing Charlotte explore the world and having fun being free of her position as fiance.
Im really not a fan of forgiving people so easily. This wasn't the case of a mistake. Those classmates KNEW she was innocent and still persecuted her. This was malice, and there's a big difference. They weren't good people to start with if they willignlt harmed her for their own egos or agendas.
But I'm glad that it seems the main culperate seems to be getting what she deserves. Her actions have harmed others. Many actually, so i really hope she gets full punishment and more importantly loses the power to hurt others again. Like by becoming a poor commoner. It's not for revenge, but an ironic punishment given what happened to our MC, but she loses the wealth and status that gave her so much power to hurt others.
Overall I'm against red flags. How why must it be hard to make romance romantic by having people worth loving?!!!
Anyways, even though i hate the lack of romance in this genre and even if i call out red flags, i admit i still enjoy the stories. Yes even the rape and utterly cold attitudes. But this shit is one I utterly hate. It's not shown so much in this story but evident enough in the other one.
I hate how someone can be 'in love' and willingly have sex with another. I can understand if it's someone trying to forget their love and move on as they believe thye don't have a chance, but someone like this guy who has been planning for years and been 'in love' willingly beds another is trash. I can understand the whole omega pheromones in this setting and even the poor parenting in this story, to a degree. Because outside of that influence that he doesn't even try restraining his desires. He still drowns himself in lust. If you can't bother holding yourself off from sex how weak is that love? Does our uke mean so little to him? Like imagine in the future he cheats cause he felt like having sex with another. That affection is worthless if he can't bother to improve himself for his love.
Surprisingly im okay with this harem. Competent people who can contribute to a relationship (lets be real, most harem members in manga have no personality and are less useful than a stick) and they all get along with each other.
However, i want to see more of the other party where they struggle and realize the treasure they abandoned.
I know this doesn't mean much, but in manga and manhua these little details just so conveniently line up (like in the case of natuto since episode 1).
Our FL is the princess isn't she? She has blond hair like the crown prince and extreme physicality. Most likely some divine blessing from the royal family. That would be awesome. Rather than someone pompus she's a down to earth brutal battle maniac of a princess

I hope the prince and saint and the other bitches go into battle, and realize without Rome they are nothing. Even better if they get maimed and everyone realizes Rome is the true hero.
The translation is sloppy, but the note at the end of ch 1 is hilarious. And yeah, show love by rape. Ugh. Definitely not for me.
Im sure many of us are tired of the abuse victim forgiving their abusers. Its sad the girl isn't using her body but i like it that the ancestor is in charge (hmm, would we see her previous husband.?). She WILL bring justice to the family that is depending so much on her exploits and abilities and utterly fail to improve themselves or help others. The girl wanted mercy, and i get she was traumatized, but honestly she would have been too easily manipulated. Thank gods our MC is not her.
A lot of times villainess characters (genuine, not mc transmigated as a villain) are right. Like why the fuck is a rich powerful guy hooking up with a poor person with no valuable upper level skills? Not only is it detrimental to the family as they lose valuable connections but without spending time together howcan they not suspect shes a gold digger? If anything this is an act of love and concern that someone is being taken advantage of.
Seriously she even makes a mess at work and expects to be treated better than how she treats a superior? Hope she dies.
Personally I'm suspicious of the og FL. Monster taming. Sometimes it can be a 'good' ability but I think it's more of an evil one. Like necromancy is typically a dark art. Think about it, why would a saint consort with monsters? I know sometimes it works out but in general I would regard that ability with suspicion. If she can tame monsters whos to say she isn't the one to incite the attacks and is in fact controlling everything?
I think raven would make for a better ML. Its like when a ML has a higher status they basically do everything for the FL. Whats the point of a FL who contributes nothing to a relationship? Why did he fall in love? It won't be a problem here but it is easy to fall prey to such a trope and make our FL obsolete.
With Raven it feels more balanced as though they support each other. As though they both contribute to the relationship and rely on EACH OTHER rather than one side dominating the relationship.
